Interesting stuff. Was this made using the multitrack stems or did you filter this stuff? 

I don't think the re-recording of released Chinese Democracy tracks is a good idea. I wouldn't mind them finishing any songs that are unfinished from the Chinese Democracy era though, I really loved Chinese Democracy and would like to hear what else axl and Co worked on. Maybe just releasing them in their current states would be a better idea than finishing them? Although I also agree with the fact that now that Axl, Slash and Duff are back together again new material maybe should be the way to go. I guess what I'm saying is I would like Chinese 2 to be released but that creating new material is probably better for the band as a whole.

Yeah I agree I really like his deep voice. Maybe it's harder for him to put the power required behind it when compared to Mickey vocals? Not sure tbh. 

I do think he's trying. You can hear the Mickey voice coming through sometimes and he fights it. Like on nightrain detroit. I personally would like him to use his deep voice instead of Mickey if he can't do the rasp all the time but it is what it is.

Well MP3's are lossy which means that some of the quality is lost to reduce file size. While WAV and Flac retain all the quality of the original source. It is a downloadable format yes. A lossless audio codec. Basically it's a WAV but with better compression meaning lower files sizes while still retaining all the quality of WAV. 

I would really love an album released with all the versions of the songs they worked on, properly mastered and in high quality. Because some of the leaked early mixes are really good.

I agree, it's nice he's helping AC/DC and I'm sure it's great for him but just because he's doing this doesn't mean he's going to go on to front every band in the known universe.

Gonna have to disagree. I'm a massive fan of Queen as well as GnR and his voice just doesn't fit imo. He didn't sound good singing that song, at all. 

Axl's voice wouldn't suit Queen songs imo, so no. 

I'm hoping Axl does keep up with his voice. I hope he doesn't just get lazy when it comes to GnR. I'm wondering if he did actually ruin his voice. Because he sounded pretty shitty for a long time, could just have been him not caring though I guess. 

I think I prefer some of the mixes that leaked a year or so before the album was released. There's still quite a few differences between them and the final mixes. The earlier mixes sound less cluttered, I still love the final album though. 

Axl sounds fucking phenomenal, he's re-energised. 

I really hope we get to hear higher quality audio of him singing these songs. He sounds great.

I tried messing around with the audio of this, my aim was to take a lot of the mud away and make the vocals a bit clearer. don't know if it sounds better per say but it's clearer.

Wow axl sounds great,  I'm wondering what the hell he did to get that voice back lol. 

I actually really like this album. I think it's pretty great. I can understand why a lot of people don't like it though, it's not exactly a GnR album. Axl should have probably released it as a solo effort, that's really what it is when it boils down to it.
