I'm gutted I just found out Dolores O'Riordan passed away at 46 years old

I loved the Cranberries when I was a kid..... I got their CD "No Need To Argue" as soon as it was released...... awesome songs!

And she had an amazing voice.

    R.I.P. Dolores!

Omg she was so young. :(

I know I shouldn't complain. Izzy tweeted in November and December and showed up in January. And I'm so glad about that, I really am. Just imagine he wouldn't have done any of it. I'm glad he's alive and well.

But.I.do.complain. I want more. Music or an interview or a video from his garden shed for all I care. Something more substantial than a tweet or one singular grainy foto.

And that FedEx would take less than 4 hours?

I think that no matter how much they try it, frozen pizza is not the same as fresh one or served right from the oven.

But there are people who love old pizza. Maybe Axl is one of them.

No it would take at least 12 hours. But the pizza wouldn't have been pre-cooked. If they do it like Pizzeria Uno in Chicago, they prep the pizza, freeze it raw, then ship it to you. Once it gets to you, you cook it from frozen so that way it's still fresh.

I must have missed that conversation because I do occasionally talk in that thread as well.

    Here's the start of it:

I personally like to think that this was the convo that inspired Izzy's Mygnrforum tweet. :rofl-lol:

The only place where he´s being accused that he chose money over his childhood friend is here and even here the amount of people that believe in this shitty is limited to a small portion of a small group of Izzy fans. And it´s not daily :shrugs:

So why would he bother himself making a statement on the subject if even Izzy deleted the message? And Izzy was very especific on that twitter "They didn't want to split the loot equally. Simple as that."...Assuming that what Izzy said is true, what would they have to say about it?

And about that " 5 figure fee (rumored)" only a tiny little amount of Izzy fans are desperately trying to make this nonsense sound like something plausible for from there to base their guesswork and then stay at peace with their minds...But most people don´t even consider this as rumor.

Well he tweeted that they didn't want to "split the loot equally", so doesn't that suggest he wanted equal "loot" to them?

For whatever reason the big 3 seem to be keeping their opinions to themselves. Even Axl's answer about Izzy was pretty much a non-answer. Because of that, it's not surprising they wouldn't run right to the internet or the media to dispute a tweet the majority of people didn't see or know existed.

And what are the big 3's "behavior" the past 2 years? Because this entire thing seems to be going very well and being met with great response by the vast majority.

I was talking about their behavior towards Izzy.

    ----

Honestly, you guys are exhausting. You make a false claim... somebody debunks it... then you respond to that with another random false claim that has nothing to do with the current conversation... That gets debunked and so on and so forth... It just goes on and on...

Believe what you want I guess but I'm not going to keep going around in circles with you two. :shrugs:

I don't hate Izzy at all. But that whole attitude GNR fans have where what they want to happen is what rightfully should be happening and if it's not happening that way someone is fucking someone somehow presents itself in this situation. If he wanted "equal loot", he's wrong. If he just wasn't up for a 2 year world tour commitment, that's not surprising based on what basically everyone who knows the guy says about him.

Do you truly believe that is what he asked for? a 25% split each? Why would he do that when they never got paid that way from the beginning? Also, do you really think a 5 figure fee (rumored) is a fair offer to a founding member of the band? Can you not see how insulting that must've been to Izzy? Especially when Melissa, Frank, Fortus and Dizzy are getting so much more?

And if Izzy is playing the victim, lying and manipulating the situation to make the big 3 look bad, why would they let him get away with that? Do you really think Axl of all people would stay quiet when accusations are being thrown around daily that he chose money over his childhood friend? There is no way he would. He'd be calling Izzy out every chance he got if he truly had done nothing wrong.

I understand your point of view. But your theories just don't fit in with the big 3's behavior over the past two years.

That right there should end this thread.  Axl, Slash and Duff love Izzy but he just isn't reliable.

They've all said as much, including Marc canter.

The evidence is there for us all to see. He left GNR, left VR, was never all that interested in being in a big band.

No way could they trust him to do 4 hour shows on a 2+ year tour.

How in the hell did you get that out of that interview? If anything it just shows Axl was low balling Izzy all the way back in 2006 too.

Also, stop saying Izzy left VR, Izzy was never in VR. He jammed with them a bit but Dave Kushner was already their rhythm guitarist and it was never anything official.

    ----

Wasn't this thread about a film festival??? How did we end up down this road again?

    I didn't think I had to since 23 dates in 2006 + 6 dates in 2012 still doesn't come near the commitment and work of 148 dates in 2016 - 2018.

But since you mention this, wasn't one of those tours the one where Izzy demanded more money at the last minute?

No? Not sure where you're getting that info because this is the first I've heard of it.

I can't find any record of Izzy doing anything resembling a tour since 1993. It was probably a combination of things. The guy doesn't like long-term commitments, being on the road or being in the spotlight and the money wasn't good enough to get him to commit to doing it for 2 years.

You must not have looked very hard. Izzy did a small japan tour in 2000 as well as 23 shows with GNR in 2006 & 6 shows with GNR in 2012.
