Yea ISE imo is a way better opener solely due to how well Axl pulls it off, plus that base line. If Axl was on fire for Jungle im sure it would be a great opener as well. Quite honestly it is probably the best opening song I've heard at any concert ive been to with Def Lepp's Lets Go and Queen's We will rock you being close behind

No, they however should be used effectively to enhance tracks less so than to drive them.

I am wanting to hear more about this album and USA tour. I guess Slash & Co. will tell more after the GNR European leg in July, but that seems like a long time from now. Will he be announcing more tour dates or is this USA tour just festivals? Does anyone know if there will be SMKC touring next year or is it still GNR? Thank you!
Yea, I'm waiting on the tour announcement, opted to not go see them last time since I hadn't gotten into Slash's solo material, boy to I regret it

Personally I'd like to see TIL swapped for Prostitute and have Maddy as an Encore Staple.
-
Listened to Slither and SOYL wow Axl really came back. Liked seeing Coma moved changes the flow slightly which I think is ok.
-
This photo just goes to show that AXL chose to cut 6 songs from the Berlin setlist. Clearly something was up. Id love to see slither prostitute and madagasgar become staples over, BHS and TIL even though i quite enjoyed both songs when i saw GNR live. (TIL much more so in 2016)

This has got to be the shortest NITL show yet.
22 Song main sets were common in 2016.

Already SCOM? Wasn't that usually later in the set?
Usually it was 1 song later, since they haven't played YCBM. So likely it is about 10 mins earlier than normal since Coma was switched for Slither.

Wow, Maddy and Prostitute were amazing before. Unreal musicianship behind the vocals

I expect more of the same, maybe a few swaps, hopefully Maddy and Prostitute will stay, one should take the place of TIL. I hope Coma stays and I think and AC/DC cover should stick in the set over something.
-
I personally think there is little reason not to do an AXL/DC album. Would absolutely love to go see them live

Saw Halestorm w/ Stonesour, seeing Pink, Journey, Def leppard, Alice in Chains, Evanescence and if I play my cards right Alice Cooper and Whitesnake as well
Added John Fogerty, Whitesnake Foreigner and Jason Bonham to the list. Aiming for Alice Cooper and Halestorm as well. If Slash comes close I'll be getting tickets to him as well

Likely going to do a combination of CD and digital, want to have the demos which didnt make the cut for the album, but don't want to spend a ton of money on all the CD's

You mean because of the lyrics? I think AG is just as solid as anything else musically, just the lyrics date it s little bit but whatever this was sleazy 80s LA rock.
The song never clicked for me, only time I listen to it is when I'm playing appetite on Vinyl other than that I basically ignore its existance
-
I personally feel like this version should of replaced Anything Goes on Appetite. Which in my eyes is the only song on Appetite which was a waste of space.

I really don't get the hate for Myles' voice, I think it suits the songs he sings and songs that he can't sing so well he has Todd, and Todd is an awesome singer.
I completely agree with you, I hope we hear Todd take lead vocals on a song or two on the album.

Never understood the love for the Stones, Van Halen or the Beatles. Between all 3 bands I probably have 7 songs I actually listen to by them
-
Iron Maiden
GNR
Scorpions
Alter Bridge
Dio/Rainbow (Dio era)/Heaven and Hell era Sabbath
Not in any order since they fluctuate. AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Queen, Zeppelin and Evanescence likely would of been close up as well with Slash, Halestorm and UFO being honourable mentions

@StrangerInThisTown Damn, I totally forgot about it! You're so right...
It will be freakin' beautiful.
Agreed. Myles does an unreal job on Levon, wish we had a studio version of it.
-
I can't wait to hear the rendition of rocket man, I remember hearing about it on the radio in 2016 when I was on my way home from the GNR concert in Seattle
-
Powerslave - Iron Maiden
-
I would love an acoustic Civil War and Beggars, although i feel fall to pieces should remain electric. An acoustic set imo should be included in basically every show to some capacity for rock bands.
-
60% SMKC songs, 20%-30% VR/Snakepit songs 10%-20% GNR but with emphasis on songs Axl isnt as strong on, so Locomotive, Rocket Queen, you could be mine, and civil war (even if Axl isnt bad on this one).
Im hoping for slightly longer sets closer to 25 songs instead of the 20 they did before, with Todd singing 4 or so instead of just 1-2.

Ballads: Blackbird, Shed My Skin, Broken Wings, In loving Memory, Watch over you, Words darker than their wings
Rockers: Slip to the Void, Ties That Bind, Isolation, Poison in Your Veins, Crows on a wire, come to life, Addicted to pain
Epics: Fortress, Cry of Achilles, The Last Hero.
Basically each album has some outright amazing songs. Myles and Mark kick ass together. Always finding more songs I enjoy by them. Their ballads are outright amazing. Bolded are my top 5 currently
