Hard School sounds like something that could have been on the David Bowie's album, "Diamond Dogs". I think if Bowie was the one producing Axl's album, it would have been amazing.
Shame that he couldn't find the right producer, I think that's the only thing lacking on this song. A good producer.

I really question the advice Axl was given that these songs weren't ready for release back in the early 00's after hearing more of Hard School.
I think they just needed a better production. If I were to decide a producer (thinking that the album would sound the same as this song), I would have picked David Bowie to produce the album. And if you Listened to the new remaster of his "Diamond Dogs" album you will understand why!

Totally. Though maybe it would have sounded a little out of place
Everything sounds out of place on CD. Look at "sorry" for example, "Shacklers" - another one.

Wait, hang on. Am I reading this title right?:
so the hoarder who got the discs is now re-selling them for $15000? Are they not interested in trading anymore? Just looking for money now?
15K ? that's a lot of money... you can buy a car with that kind of money! You can fuckin' go to Bora Bora and live like a king there for a whole month!

No wonder we don't get no new GNR songs if that's how "fans" treat the music and the work behind it. Perfectly cool sharing some bootlegs and maybe couple of leaks to get a taste of an upcoming CD, but 15 CD's? Sorry, but that's just total disrespect towards any artist and the work.
Dude this songs are 20 Years old! They don’t even have the current members of the band.
it’s from a band that is death and buried!

These song titles could be "made up" to hide the real names or because they're unfinished. A lot of bands do that like Metallica.
They're working titles. Temporary titles just to distinguish it from other songs. I think Thyme is a final title.

I think he's a clear example of a "Too much too soon" attitude. He couldn't deal with what came with it during the 90's I think. Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno.

Id be happy with Bluray audio remastered like they did with afd box. I guess they will remove Get In The Ring. Some live pro shots would be good too.
and probably Shotgun Blues...

So basically, everything from the Chinese Democracy era that hadn't come out, and the demos that were made before the break up, are possibly buried forever (unless Axl has copies of those of course), is that it? I hope not!

As much as I would like new music, let's not forget that this band first disbanded because they couldn't agree on a direction. Take Use Your Illusion as an example! It's almost like a compilation album, and the reason for it, was that it was done to make everyone happy, in Axl's words.
They have been together for what? 3 years now? I'm sure touring is great but I think an album is probably still a touchy subject. Nobody wants to ruin the whole thing. Duff and Slash don't wanna pressure Axl, they probably rely on Axl's initiative for starting things up. On the other hand, Axl probably is very passionate in including material that he had already created before the reunion, with other musicians, and that might not set well with Slash and Duff.
The impression that I get from all this interviews, is that everyone is expecting to do an album at some point, but at the same time, they don't wanna pressure Axl into it, and in the meanwhile they're probably trying to reach an agreement on the direction that they want the album to go to. At this stage they're probably just throwing bits and pieces, ideas etc... Slash: "Hey Axl look at this riff I did on Saturday", Axl "Not bad...save it for later" kind of thing...

My prediction, and this is all speculation obviously, is that they will have a new album by the end of this year, or at least will start a tour in the fall quarter of this year, and start promoting the next record with 1-3 new songs on the setlist.
I think they're gonna go the Van Halen route. They will record 1 or 2 new songs and they will transform the rest of the songs (being the chinese left overs) into traditional GNR songs with a modern twist. It can't be hard to transform songs like Going Down, The General, Jackie Chan and Silkworms into traditional rock songs... if you put in brand new vocals and brand new guitars, you have a brand new song! The songs I named are just an example.
So it's not gonna be Appetite, but it would be something along the lines of VR with Axl, and then maybe Axl will leave the sound effects there too, I dunno...

Makes me remind of Tommy Stinson's solo albums lol

Don't wanna miss a thing is a great great song, in my opinion. Compare it with Street of Dreams then talk to me about it

Wait, what? Aerosmith already played the half time show. Journey never has to my knowledge.
Aerosmith played with Britney and N'Sync.
Journey played the pre show I guess:

The best choice would be Aerosmith! Best band in the World, then the obvious choice, Guns N'Roses. Journey did a pretty good job some years ago too.

OMG has been always in my top 10.
I didn't like the audio quality at the time specially compared to other bands being in the soundtrack CD. But hey they wanted to include something new from GNR even if it's a demo!
But to me what is important is the way it got released. Probably the last time a release was handled professionally and with no delay lol
Though I know the label gave a serious deadline to Axl and he had been procrastinating till the last day and Sean Beavan had to spent in studio with Axl till morning for the final mix.
I'm actually enjoying ImSorry's version a lot.
That's what Axl is missing! Deadlines! I don't know why it's not happening...

I love the song and I loved the movie! Gabriel Byrne did a hell of a job playing the devil.
I think the song needs a totally different mix than what was done.
It needs to be wider and less compressed. The guitars need to sound less electronic on the solos, the drums should be louder and the melody should be clearer.

I would pay the 13 euros/month to have access to the GNR vault, if it included unseen footage and unreleased songs.
