“I’m Just Ken” is quite GNR adjacent besides having Slash as Mike Clink recorded Slash’s guitars for the track and former GNR (and current every other band) drummer Josh Freese does drums on the track.

I should love the ending with the howls and screams he does, but it just reminds me of the unfinished version of Street of Dreams with the nana’s and vocalizations before he figured out words to put there

it didn't leak on myspace, they willingly posted the entire album to stream on Myspace. broke all the myspace records but completely sunk the sail out of potential sales.

Going through a re-listen right now. Even though I like it as a stand-alone song, I really hate where Catcher in the Rye is in the sequencing. Having it right after TWAT just sucks the energy out of the album, they should have put Riad there.

I wish they had of said fuck if and released a double album. I wonder what the story is with the final delay from when the mix was done in early 2007 until final release a year and a half later. Tommy has said that the label “ripped away” the album from Axl “right as he was almost done” without really giving more details.

Crazy that Invincible and CD were recorded at the same time. There was just a five year period where two albums were eating up at least $40 million

He plays in Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. He’s aggressively average at guitar.

I wish, Bon Jovi was released 9 studio albums & three live albums since GNR started working on Chinese Democracy.
