Just was told on X there is indeed no “Monsters” on the B-side But still not sure the version of TG we’re getting… the fan probably would have to post a clip/rip for any of us to verify.

I know the X page said there is “no Monsters” but did the person who got their vinyl copy early actually SPIN it or is just going off the info on the back cover?

And now we wait for the “Perhaps” vinyl… or “perhaps” any other goodies in store for us beforehand

I’m watching the FB stream… I’m starting to personally get so sick of the “Mickey Mouse” comments… we get it: he doesn’t sound like he did when he was 25 LOL

Pretty solid setlist… if they went on a little bit earlier, I suppose TV Eye and Down on the Farm wouldn’t have been skipped… probably would’ve gotten another CD song or two.

I have a feeling they’re skipping the encore break tonight… they got like, what, about a half hour or so left according to the lineup times? Unless they break curfew?

True. I’m hoping that they truly end the tour with a bang and not a whimper since they’ve been firing on all cylinders lately … but with the sound issues and Melissa not there on backing vocals… ehhhh, we shall see.

My confidence in a “Monsters” debut and/or something else major happening is waning.

That’s a fair theory… although the lack of even just a CD is still a little intriguing. Out of the three types of physical media, the cassette is definitely the most “gimmicky” imo so I can totally understand skipping that.

How we all feeling about the chances of “The General” dropping on streaming this coming Friday? Also, personally, I’m thinking they’re planning a much larger holiday release (perhaps an EP?) which is why there has been no “Perhaps” CD or cassette announcement to date.

A festival called “Heaven and Hell” would be a great place to debut “Monsters.”

They did that once before this tour. They also once did “Live and Let Die” and “Hard Skool” toward the end of their respective shows.

Axl says the last time he sang “The General” was in the Spring… they were rehearsing for the tour then. So “The General” and “Monsters” must’ve been part of those mixes he and Slash went to check out in late June…
