I hear ya. I’m also thinking they might go the way of the “NITL Selects” and have a “live” debut on YT with the countdown and all that later today.

Either delayed (and they forgot to update the caption in the initial announcement post) or later today EST. In my experience, music videos sometimes drop at like 9/10AM… I remember that was the case with the most recent Blink-182 MV. Again, just speculating… don’t know what their intentions are.

I think the “Perhaps” MV dropped at midnight EST, and the actual single dropped when it was midnight in each respective time zone. That might be why it hasn’t shown up yet…

Anyone think this is gonna be a drop by time zone (meaning NZ, for example, gets it in a few hours) or a midnight drop EST?

First time I watched the teaser they posted, I noticed really quick flashes of symbols on some of the “live” footage… they certainly have to mean SOMETHING, what that something actually is will be known in the next 24 hours or so, I’d imagine

That’s why I’m hopeful (probably wrongfully so) it’s part of a much larger thing.

I respectfully disagree with you re: Creative Works, however, their confidence in what’s coming is rather intriguing to me. Whatever’s in store for us on the 24th will keep GNR in conversation for “new” things, which I’m happy about since we all pretty much assumed this to be a quiet year. I have a feeling we’re getting that Hollywood Bowl footage from TG’s debut… would explain Slash going all in playing that night.

Creative Works London just basically confirmed it’s an official music video for “TG”, made partially with AI WOULD be really nice if it’s that and something else, but we shall see… they did call it “F’n special” after all.

Man, I’m hoping at the very least they drop the live version of TG officially this year, more specifically the Hollywood Bowl performance… Say what you want about Axl’s vocals, but damn, the band was SO into it… truly one of the best performances imo of the current lineup. 🔥

I had a dream last night that they announced an “Atlas Shrugged” EP on NYE’s, with all the reunion singles thus far plus Atlas, Berlin, SOG, and I think As It Begins as well (might’ve been instrumental.) Dreams have never turned into reality for me thus far, here’s hoping this one breaks the trend.

So “Stay of Execution” was indeed trademarked, is that what I’m gathering? This “Goodbye” stuff just doesn’t seem legit… it would have to be an original composition from the current lineup if on the off chance it does turn out to be real, unless it’s something that NEVER leaked before.

Well, to me, it was a little odd cause he did get to state it is a new song, but not “why.” Probably reading too much into it, but it could be argued there was some intent on Axl’s part to talk a little bit more about TG before the performance.

Those with the “Perhaps” vinyl: Anyone else gaining a deeper appreciation for “TG” while listening to it on vinyl as opposed to digitally, or is it just me? Nice looking copy and OBI! I’m assuming same back cover art as the vinyl

It’s funny cause it’s obvious TB knows we’ve heard “Monsters,” some still have it, and then we all saw the songwriting credits for “The General AND Monsters,” and yet we’re probably gonna have to wait a year (or even more) for an official release… Of course, there’s the possibility they can the release altogether, but with the NITL lineup evidently on the track, I doubt they will go that route.

Wouldn’t it be something if THAT was the reason for the delay all along, and some of those copies did indeed slip through the cracks? Then WTH is the deal with “Monsters?” That sucks to hear… you would think with almost a month n’ a half delay, they would’ve wholly fixed whatever issues there were from the get-go…

Well folks, finally got my “Perhaps” vinyl today… luckily, no pixelation issues with the artwork, and both songs sound infinitely better on vinyl… including the now notorious “General.” Still wondering what the original batch sounded like for them to can it, especially if “Monsters” was in there…

Doesn’t look pixelated like some previously shipped copies… wonder if it was a bad batch? (I wonder if there’s a vinyl cut out there with “Monsters” on it… provided THAT’s what provoked them to change course )
