Last night I went down the beach where no one could hear me put my headphones and just ran around singing and grooving like Axl would on stage.

im a trained vocalist… zak Stevens fromsavatage and trans-Siberian orchestra fame is my teacher… been doing this since I was 9, have well received albums out…

ive ragged on axls live vocals lots… I have an entire new appreciation for him. I’m 43 and workout physically and vocally everyday. To do what he does is really hard fucking work.

He hits the notes and puts on a fucking show.

would you rather not have your favourite band still selling stadiums and putting on great shows?

Pretty much everything they played at rir3 were better than how they ended up on CD

It’s my favourite Chinese era tune that slash plays on but good gosh why does Axl do everything ass backwards this is literally the least favourite song from the Chinese era and that’s what he chooses to get people excited for “new material 😫

they pulled it and it has some wrong words and missing some artwork. Big fucking deal no one reads or cares about that stuff anymore anyway. If you needed the artwork etc. Do a post on your site and let whoever cares download it. Don’t pout like toddler.

Not particularly. Lyrics sound like axl watched a cheesy made for TV movie on Middle East politics and wrote the first thing of his head no edits

This topics and articles that pop up saying axl or anyone for that matter have anything more than a 4 octave range are stupid. Nobody can sing anywhere near 5 or 6 octaves it’s physically impossible.

Axl can hit (maybe) a low eb below middle c (think demon “long time” in TWAT And the highest I’ve heard him is an a high e ... so the 3rd e above middle c.

when people start throwing around this or that person have a 7 octave range. That’s like being able to sing the entire piano range. Impossible period

I don't get all the DJ hate. To my ears he never really butchered anything. He's a great guitar player. He had energy and tried to motivate Axl's lazy arse to write and was very interactive with fans.

Maybe the hulk hogan ears was a bit cheesy but he was trying.

Everything in the GNR world is like measuring something in dog years, except longer lol. I'd say probably times everything by at least eight. So expect a jungle and paradise city video from whatever not in this lifetime tour by the end of summer. It's all so lame. We already had tons of decent fan footage until these goof balls went all copyright infringement on us. Jeez if you won't release any decent content don't let the fans suffer. This band is becoming so ridiculous.

If they really want to redeem themselves. Go to your rehearsal space and play a two hour request show with Axl giving it his Ac/DC voice. Redeemed.

They should cancel the US tour already the ticket sales are atrocious anyway.

I bought two tickets for this from (I'm from Victoria BC) but my buddy backed out. So I was stuck with a 135 ticket. Then I saw that NOBODY is buying tickets to this show and panicked I'd be stuck with this ticket. Stub hubed it for $70. Took a bath but a single seat in a show that has sold 15% of the tickets... good luck. I can't imagine them going through with tour with the absolutely abysmal ticket sales.

Those GNR podcast guys should track down somebody who works or has worked for Universal to say what they say is going on behind the scenes for the next GNR release. Is it really a record company issue? Is there contract up after Chinese? Like really what is going on or is it really all Axl??

It's funny how us hardcore fans can much more accurately describe the history of GNR than Slash! Axl and Izzy write some books so we can between the 5 of you try and decipher the truth!

Super scored some tickets on the lower level right beside the stage in Seattle. This will be show 18 of GNR for me.

Part of me doesn't want to pay the travel, hotel and ticket costs to hear Axl's nasally old lady voice BUT like someone else said Axl's almost 60 not sure how many more times in this lifetime I'll get to see GNR again. And when you are there and the music loud and songs are great... you get in the moment and overlook a few things.

What would you have thought if Chinese had come out in 2001 2002 with the tracklist off one of the recent leaked cd's. Don't quote me on the order but the track listing was

While this version is missing Better, This I love, Shacklers and Sorry which would have been disappointing... it also would have had rawer mixes and Josh on drums. The tracklist is pretty good. I think if they would have just released this for the 2001-2002 era. It would have sold way better, been received better and sounded less bloated.... and we'd likely have another album or two by now.

I'm not asking for any links or anything. But is there video of dead horse and locomotive out there on the net or have the gnr copyright Nazis screw that up for everyone?
