There isn't going to be an 'excuse'. There's going to be an album released.

Harley-Davidson have an advert ready to roll featuring the Gn'R track Better. Harley are not going to hang around forever, they have their own schedule and the advert is getting older and older by the day.

I don't see Buckethead as a dick. He is a great player, Gn'R simply wasn't for him.

/wonders what the SG will do? will they just hang around the place looking good, thus helping bridge the gap (wait) until GnR take to the stage, or do the SG take to the stage? do they get their boobies out

If Gn'R return to the UK and bring the SG's with them, i just might make the effort to got and see Gn'R for a 3rd time

speaking of new bands, i'm not what i make of Trivium. Their getting bigger, and from what i've read, they want to be the biggest. I donot have any of their albums, although i have seen them on television afew times. They certainly give it all they've got, i'm just not too sure about the singing style. Their style looks very Metallica, or atleasts thats how they appeared to me when they were performing on TV.

i'm guessing we will see it in 2006. If it if ain't here in 2006 then i'll loose alot of interest, and simply download it as and when (it turns up).

Just a thought, maybe you’ve thought the same..

Some bands if not all bands (I can only comment on the bands I have see live and the bands I have seen on video) when they are on stage appear to be really into what they do, and enjoy what they do and play the music.

With GN’R I sense something else going on. Maybe it’s intentional (maybe its unintentional ) maybe it’s all part of how GN’R are supposed to be (want to be). With Axl there’s and air of tension about him. It’s like he has part of his mind on the music, part of his mind the crowd and part of his mind on what’s not working out (sound issues, object in his way). When I say ‘part of his mind the crowd’ I’m not talking about crowd interaction, I’m talking about looking into the crowd to see if anyone’s doing anything they shouldn’t be doing (photo’s, filming, fighting and anything else that pisses him off (Slash T-Shirts).

You know what would be good: If over on the official Gn'R page they should have a section called 'something?' (rumours shot down or fact and fiction) and the page could contain a list of rumours complete with anwsers from the Gn'R camp (just to clear things up a little).

Here's an example:

Rumour: did Robin grow a beard because Axl told him to do so?

Anwser: Robin (might anwser): lol! no, it was all my own idea. I don't tell Axl what to do with his hair, and he don't tell me what to do with mine.

Users could post the Rumour (question) and the Gn'R camp could supply an anwser as and when.

Merck could remove any forum abusers.

I guess the current US tour is a sucess. Like Merck and Axl said, the people going to the shows are having a good time. Sure one show didn't happen (for whatever reason) and Gn'R hit the stage late (which fans should expect by now).

If the question was 'have the new CD songs been a sucess during the US tour' i do get the impression (reading these forums) that the new material + the solo's donot work as well live as the older material.

Something else i am not quite getting: why play some old cover song by the UK Subs when the band could be playing another song from Chiese Democracy. I can only think of 3 reasons for this 1.The band don't want to play any more songs from CD until the album is released, 2.They've already played the best of what CD has to offer or 3.The band cannot play the songs live (properly - atleast for the moment - they need Bucket back).

I guess you won't be buying the albums cos' guns' management make poor decisions, and the odds are likely for the cover being incredible lame.

Sure hope it looks great. It wouldn't surprize me if the album art looked like it was made by a formite learning how to use Photoshop

Having seen Gn'R live when Slash was in the group and having seen Gn'R live when Buckethead was in the group, i don't really feel the need to see them again.

On the album front, as and when Chinese Demo hits the shops, i'm still in 2 minds weather to buy or download it. If the CD is 80% material we've heard already then i won't be all that impressed. If on the other hand the album is packed with new tracks and the art work is fan-dabby-dossy then i'll buy CD

I know the music is the most improtant aspect of any album, but these days if an album has crap art work then i download the album, as all i want is the music. I picked up NIN's WITH_TEETH (as i have all of NIN's albums) as not only is the music good but the art work is cool too. I own some original New Order albums, but there was no way on earth i was going to splash some ca$h on Republic, as the cover art are was so poor. Even New Order themselves could not believe how poor the cover art was for Republic. Which made we wonder, didn't New Order see the cover art to thir own album before it hit the shops???

So Gn'R cannot perform a show without booze. Couldn't they have simply had a truck outside where Axl and Co. could nip off for a quick swig. Or couldn't they have simply had a few drinks before entering the venue. To call off a whole show does kinda suck. Mind you, if they had sold 10,000+ tickets, i'm sure they would have found away to get on stage

HMV just make it up as they go along. Although i'm sure they'll get it right sooner or later. Maybe they have been told to say the new date, to throw us fans off the scent.

I'm holing out for November the 21st. If no album shows up, then 18 December will be the next hope. In the mean time, life goes on as normal

I see a number of people flaming Jarmo and the moderators for removing posts at our request. I understand that you feel that we are using our influence to censor you. We are not. If someone wants to express their opinion or critique the band and its performances, recordings, actions etc that does not bother us but when you spread lies and disinformation about everything from ticket sales to release dates to how Pollstar calculate their chart we will use our relationship with Jarmo to shut you down because you cause chaos and confusion and you try to take something good and turn it into something ugly.

Then why was i banned from HTDGTH for posting a link to the Harley-Davidson site that was simply showing an advert that just happened to be using a Gn'R track
