Shuffle
Black Stone Cherry are awesome, you should check them out! I've heard their self-titled cd and it's decent, some songs are pretty good but not amazing or anything imo

I've heard their self-titled cd and it's decent, some songs are pretty good but not amazing or anything imo I really like them, never seen them live but most likely it's worth checking out!Out of all those bands, I'd see Judas Priest, Avantasia, Testament, Ministry, Ace Frehley, Bach, Coheed And Cambria, Apocalyptica, Satriani, and Black Stone Cherry. Eh, i'd go

Zint
Anyone going to this festival I HIGHLY recommend you take in Ace Frehley's set.If you are even remotely a Kiss fan...Ace's new band just knocks the shit out of classic Kiss material.Way fucking cooler than fake Kiss. It's going to be a kickass set...don't miss it! krissirge
crap,Def Leppard is here on the 11th and Rabarock is on the 13th-14th,want to change Def Leppard for some band so that they could play in the festival and I don't have to buy 2 tickets.(Def Leppard is pretty cheap though)

Guest Satanisk_Slakt
Here's some new, but totally unknown bands. Apparently they won their competition in their countries (all Nordic countries but Iceland), and their prize was to open the smallest stage one festival day each.Svölk is from Norway.Sister Sin is from Sweden.45 Degree Woman is from Finland.Boil is from Denmark. Guest Satanisk_Slakt
Don't know. They are playing there because they won a competition for undergroundbands.I see that you can listen to them on Sweden Rocks Myspace. http://www.myspace.com/swedenrockfestival

(at least you said it in the 80s topic)I figured that was your angle.I love Ace but I didn't say I like all of his songs.A lot of songs on those records rock...but,unfortunately Ace got caught up in the times and as a result, several sound like 80's hair band wankery and I tend to skip them.If you ever go see Ace live...you will notice he skips them too. Guest Satanisk_Slakt
Now that I've counted which bands I'd like to see there are 4 that I want to see. Judas, Saxon, Bach and Avantasia. Some more that I consider to watch like Hanoi Rocks which have done a few song which aren't completely worthless. Mustasch has done some good songs too. Shuffle
Well I'm not going but if I'd go I'd like to see Hanoi Rocks, Ace Frehley,Tesla and Mustasch, and I'd probably catch Judas Priest and maybe Def Leppard just becuase they're headliners... I'd stay far away from Poison, expect for laughing at them for a few minutes maybe And I'd probably watch Sebastian Bach too because of his connection with Axl...
