Randy Lahey
These are some great live performances with Mick Taylor. This is the best band of all time at their peak. http://youtube.com/watch?v=nmVW94UWgBg&feature=relatedhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=43zALQhwdQU&feature=relatedhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=Us-Qzze9iGk http://youtube.com/watch?v=euOrnZZkzKg&feature=related http://youtube.com/watch?v=XWQBTgOMmIc
FunkyMonk
They are so brilliant. Sticky Fingers is one of the best albums ever, I don't have nearly enough albums really.
GUNSNROSES513
YEP. DAMN right. Well there one of my favorite bands. Tops 3 are Aerosmith, GNR, STP. Stones>>>> Beatles anyday. Beatles are okay. WAY overrated imho.
SunnyDRE
Stones and Beatles equally for me...I prefer Rock bands to pop bands. The Beatles is probably the best band of all time. How do you figure? The Beatles were great for how long? Maybe five years at the most. The greatest band of alltime is U2. They have been the "biggest band in the world" or at least a close second, for over 20 years. The only reason U2 are even still in any sort of spotlight is because Bono parades himself around "saving the world" like a douche, whereas The Beatles are known by almost everyone just for being the greatest band ever; and I think that holds more esteem than being known for wearing stupid sunglasses. Don't get me wrong though, I still like the 70's Steven Tyler.

Ace Nova
They just never appealed to me nearly as much as (besides Guns N' Roses, of course) Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith just to name a few.

ohmygod
Saint of Me is the best Stones song since the 80's, in my opinion. What's your guys favorite Stones album? Sticky Fingers is my pick despite the fact that I don't really like Brown Sugar all that much.1. exile2.let it bleed
ChineseDemocracy2004
A friend of mine gave the 40 Licks album, i like that alot. I get a headache when i try to compare The Beatles to the Rolling Stones, i think my favourite song by the Stones at the moment is 'Jumpin' Jack Flash'.I can't decide which Rolling Stones album to buy, Sticky Fingers would that be a good start? To answer your Q, they're one of my favourite bands, but not my top favourite. Shuffle
Love the Stones, one of my absolute favourite bands... check my lastfm: http://www.last.fm/user/ShuffleItAll/ My favourite album is Beggars Banquet but they have a lot of good albums, and the four from Beggars Banquet until Exile are awesome... I love the songs Keith Richards sings too, especially Before They Make Me Run

murray_TH
I'm really looking forward to seeing the Martin Scorcese film that's just been made. Read a review yesterday and it sounds like it'll be good.

Randy Lahey
Coming Down Again and Winter off Goatshead Soup are a couple of lost classics. Another personal favorite of mine is Indian Girl off of Emotional Rescue.

inthisriver
I'm listening to 40 licks right now. The whole thing is flawless. Usually even great hits, or best of's have sore spots but not this one. The Stones aren't my favorite group of all time (I'm a Beatles guy) but there's no denying how amazing they really are. Favorite songs have to be, "Under My Thumb" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash"
duff_mckagan21
Moonlight Mile is possibly my favourite song of all time.It gives me chills. And even though Mick Taylor's era was perhaps there best musically, Ronnie Wood is the only one for the Stones.duff21
Lithium
In my top 5Same here probably. Life doesn't get much better when playing Exile On Main St. whilst relaxing in the shade in the summer.
