Zakk Wylde's "Pride & Glory"

So, yesterday I ordered "Pride & Glory", Zakk Wyldes first soloalbum and I want to know what you guys and girls think of this album.

I haven't heard a thing off it yet, I just ordered it after I read some reviews which sounded like this could be an album I could really dig.

I also love Black Label Societys "Hangover Music Vol. 6", so I hope "Pride & Glory" has some songs like it? Or am I way off?

Even if it's not a thing like "Hangover Music Vol. 6", I'm sure I'll like it, also because of Zakk's awesome voice!

I think I'm going to be able to give a fair review tomorrow when I've listen to the album in full, after the comments here I'm fairly positive that I'm really going to like it! Thanks! :)

To everyone who said they don't like BLS, let me get this straight, I haven't heard a single song from them that isn't on Hangover Music Vol.6, so I don't really know what they're normally like, but Hangover Music Vol.6 is an album full of mostly amazingly mellow, really beautiful ballads with mainly piano, acoustic guitar, some kickass riffage here and there and Zakks supercool voice! You really should check this out.

What an amazing album this is!! It has it all, kick ass riffage, beautiful ballads, and neat little ideas like a Country song here and there! The bonus disc I got with it is also really cool, closing with a really beautiful rendition of "Come together"! Beautiful piano playing, by Zakk I guess!

Favourite songs so far:

1. Losin' Your Mind

5. Harvester Of Pain <-- this one escpecially

7. Sweet Jesus

8. Troubled Wine

9. Machine Gun Man

10. Cry Me A River

12. Found A Friend

13. Fadin' Away

14. Hate Your Guts

2. Torn & Tattered

3. In My Time Of Dying

4. The Hammer & The Nail

5. Come Together

A really recommendable album, not just for those who are into Southern Rock or whatever that might be called, it's an over all really enjoyable album.
