Why? The jams are the best part imho. I also think that Madagascar would have been a way better song if they played it the whole way through like they do in the jam.

So you say you would prefer the jams, not 4 GNR songs? (old, CD, new whatever)?

I can't think of 4 GN'R songs that would fit in that short of a time period. 2 maybe. I can still think of a few songs that I would cut from the set first.

What was the last GNR show you attended?

The "jams" in the encore are not jams. They are short instrumental intros for each of the songs and the Madagascar intro in particular is fucking awesome.

February 24, 2012.

I just think it would be cooler if they were to play another song or two instead of 4 jams. That's all.

a question with a question. AWESOME

and. jams jams. solo solo spots. no secret codes. no secret intros. come on. let's get real

the above poster is right. instead of the same old same old every night...let's finally hear all the unreleased chinese democracy material from robin finck, buckethead, and brain.

which i'm assuming includes blood in the water....

I personally would think it was cool if they took Mr. Brownstone out of the set and replaced it with "The Spaghetti Incident?" played in its entirety from front to back.

But I'm not really sure that's a reasonable option.

So if you've been to a show recently, and you know that these supposed "jams" are really just short instrumental intros for the songs, what makes you think that eliminating them would suddenly make it feasible to extend the encore by another couple of songs?

nobody personally thinks this LOL you have to be putting on an act 4 the people LoL this isn't serious discussion going on

agreed, but i really prefer Perfect Crime or Scraped or whatev than the intros.

I think that the solo spots can stay, really like Fortus and Rons songs. but the jams are a bit too much

instead of a jam maybe Ron or Tommy could sing a guns song like Perfect Crime and let Axl go and suck some air if he have to

Common sense.
