Facebook, is it a joke or what?

I go on there and see what people post.... Like my sister "they sell ketchup chips here now",, followed by a picture of it, or the 100000000 new instagrams she posted of her new dog. I just feel like, who gives a shit? I mean i do because she's my sister, but why do other people need to know what she eats, or any of that. My brother posts pictures of his guitars on facebook, then he'll make a post about how hes going on vacation.... So i could break into his home and steal his guitars if i wanted too. Just the fact people post they're entire life on facebook, it seems selfish to me, to be that into yourself. I think it can be used for good, its a good way to connect with people and a lot of people use it right, but there are some facebook whores out there, and they annoy me. I mean its they're right to do what they want, I just personally don't understand it.

I know this one kid, who thinks he's the bees knees, its this white kid who thinks he's a gangster, full sleeved tats, earrings, and he always posts "white boy wanna get wasted", of who's tryin to get wavy..... He just doesn't realize how big of an ass he's making himself look like. I use facebook for comedic purposes, and to look at pics of hot girls in bikini's at the beach....

It's boring and fake. People put up way too many boring pictures and present their life in the way they want it to be rather than how it actually is.

Its main value to me is in getting updates from my 'likes' (tv shows, bands, websites etc). Also in day to day communication with my friends, link sharing etc. The picture sharing part is of little importance to me.
