Mfegz
one day, hopefully many years from now when Axl announces his final tour/tours/tours etc...that we will get to hear songs done live that we would never usually get to hear live ? I'm thinking like Coma or an acoustic version of Breakdown or even Anything Goes ? Will we ever hear Silkworms live again ?I know he's got the money to stay healthier than most but he's not getting any younger and we all retire someday. jman2000
It'd be awesome if that did happen.
Dirty Harry
Doubt it. Didn't the band have to practically beg him to do Estranged?
Mfegz
Would'nt it be nice to have a full concert with songs that have never been or not played for a long time to have one last performance ?
T.wa.T
He doesn't do them because he gets out of breath to fast.Less running around and more songs that were a bit slower, would be better for him.
jman2000
He needs to do Anything Goes alt. lyrics live. That'd be kick ass. I never liked the Anything Goes normal lyrics.

T.wa.T
Throw in New Rose, Since I Don't Have You, Black Leather and Ain't it Fun, and we have a winner.something like this for a setlist :Garden of EdenPretty Tied UpOh My GodBreakdownYesterdaysMove to the CityDead HorseGet in the RingSilkwormsDon't Damn MeYou aint the FirstOne in a MillionIf the WorldAnything GoesBack off BitchCrash DietLocomotiveShadow of your LoveProstituteBad ApplesReckless LifeComa

gunsfanoldie
something like this for a setlist :Garden of EdenPretty Tied UpOh My GodBreakdownYesterdaysMove to the CityDead HorseGet in the RingSilkwormsDon't Damn MeYou aint the FirstOne in a MillionIf the WorldAnything GoesBack off BitchCrash DietLocomotiveShadow of your LoveProstituteBad ApplesReckless LifeComaAt this age, Axl would literally be dead after a show like that. Would be amazing though. There are 5 songs in there that I don't like, but with the rest of the set it wouldn't matter. I'd replace:Garden Of Eden with Out Ta Get Me or There Was A TimeOh My God with You're Crazy (Appetite version) or IRSSilkworms with Right Next Door To HellIf The World with Perfect CrimeCrash Diet with Bad ObsessionAnd you'd have probably my ideal GNR set of songs they don't play much anymore. Again though, Axl would literally be dead after a set like this. Edited February 20, 2013 by gunsfanoldie
AndreCC
Axl would throw up his vocal chords if he had a setlist like that LOLActually he would only need Oh My God, Anything Goes, Garden of Eden and Perfect Crime on the same setlist to do that. Mfegz
So do u think thats it for these kind of songs ?? we will never hear them live again ?hopefully before he retires he might do some intimate smaller shows where the crowd can request songs kind of like a "mtv unplugged" thing, no running around just everybody playing the songs one last time !?!?!
