HisRoyalSweetness Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 so from the accounts of forum members who were at the show last night, it seems as if axl decided to cut the set short because he came down with a bad case of the shits a few songs in. other than missing some lyrics, people said he was sounding good. but when his stomach began to bother him again, they ended up cutting some classics like november rain or patience, even catching bumble off guard as he went for his acoustic. there's been a lot of debate about whether or not axl's health could possibly his singing. but could this be a direct example? had axl been maintaining a balanced, healthy diet while touring, would his stomach have still gotten violently ill? obviously we all want axl to be healthy and happy, and nobody should be expected to perform a show while crapping himself. but if this situation could have been avoided all together, then the same fans who were rewarded with such an intimate and special performance could have also been rewarded with a full set. You don't gain weight like that over night, which means Axl has had this type of diet for a longer period of time.
