A few of their takes on the old and new solos. Not "who's the best" but a "who do you enjoy the most" kind of poll.

Oh, my choices...

Question 1 - Finck

Even though he was too hit and miss at times, his takes were much more original than DJ's who relies on Slash so much...

Question 2 - Finck

There's no comparison in my books. Finck through and through

Question 3 - Finck

Finck easily again. He's unpredictable and very tasteful. Ashba, while sounding decent to good at times, doesn't take any risks.

Finck for all 3. I wasn't a huge fan of his work on the old material when he was in the band (I really didn't like his My Michelle solo for example), but I loved him on the album. I warmed up to a few of his solos on the old tracks too.

Finck was sloppy at times, but he definitely played with a lot more purpose and skill than DJ does.
