New trailer released for the first half of the last season:

Mad Men has gotta be the most secretive show on television, in terms of keeping everything a complete secret, especially with the "trailers" and the "next week on Mad Men" thing at the end of every episode.

Also they released a poster:

It's one season split into two. Usually Mad Men has 13 episodes per season, but to make it even they added an episode for this one.

7 episodes will air starting April 13th and the last 7 of the series will air next spring.

Also I'd like to point out that 100% of my friends (I think I'm up to 6 now) that I've told to watch this show have loved it and have become huge fans.

I just finished getting up to date on it. I hadn't seen seasons 5 and 6 and I watched them over the past few days. I'm looking forward to the conclusion although it seems it will take a while to get there.

I think they made season 6 more dark intentionally, just so that they could set up season 7. I hate when shows do that kind of thing, but I have faith in the Mad Men writers. They always seem to come up with great stuff.

Holy media blitz! Matt Weiner (creator of the show) gave a shit ton of interviews and they all just got released around now. AFAIK these are all differen't interviews, I haven't read them all. Also there's a few new pictures, all involving an airport.

Edit: From what I read from two of these interviews, and rumors I've heard before, this season is going to focus heavily on the main characters. I think Weiner specifically mentioned Don, Roger, Joan, Peggy and Pete in an interview.

The first episode of the season is called "Time Zones" - that, combined with the promo pictures pretty much confirms the bi-coastal situation this season. The synopsis of the episode:

Don makes a friend; Joan has drinks with a client; Roger receives a perplexing phone call; Peggy hears new work.

Typical.

Also, this is by far the coolest trailer I've ever seen for Mad Men:

Oh, and Mad Men is currently on the cover of Time:

Their trailers suck. Looking forward to the season though. Geez, it's about time.

Recently saw a video of John Hamm on a dating show several years back. What a dork, not to mention he lost too.

He was...fabulous... wouldn't you say?

 Yes, he was full of fabulosity! Was a bit weird.
