Chewbacca
Probably one of the best Dimebag solos ever. Starts at 3:49, ends at 5:01:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yKtqjkZpdAThe outro is amazing as well.

moreblack
^^ reminds me of the heavy parts of Babe I'm Gonna Leave You ^^I've had this one on the brain for the last few weeks. Just pure passion from Marty Friedman.Gary Moore just killing the Black Rose solo at Phil Lynott's birthday tribute gig:Mind you these aren't my only favorite guitarists, but there's so many we'd be here all day if I posted them all. DR DOOM
Ricthie Blackmore is such a great guitar player. Shame he's a complete dick to other musicians. Amazed at the fact that no Zeppelin has come up.Bob Daisley got along fine with him.

DR DOOM
Indeed. In his book, Bob does not deny Ritchie's reputation etc but said that when he joined Rainbow he knew it was a big opportunity and he took his bass playing very seriously, which Ritchie appreciated.edit: there is also some pictured evidence of Mr Blackmore having a self depreciating sense of humour, contrary to popular belief. CheapJon
Never listen to prince. But I listen to this solo from time to time whenever I think of a great solo.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7INsVaR-S-w^when my guitar gently weeps since it's only a link for some reason. Rovim
The gig where everything connected perfectly for Slash and every note was just right imo:
mrandyk
Randy Rhoads kills it on this whole song, but the first solo is at 2:00.

moreblack
Terrible cheesy song, but Vai's solo at 2:38 is really good. Edited January 14, 2014 by moreblack
Nobodys_Fault
I always post this, but it's cause I think more people should be aware of it's greatness. John Frusciante does a version of this that's pretty awesome. Not as good as the original obviously, but nothing is.
moreblack
I don't think he gets out of 2nd or 3rd gear on this song, but the solo is so well put together.
