izzy92
Sorry if this has been asked before!!It says in Slash and Duff's book that they had to edit 100 drum takes of Civil War into a useable drum track as Adler was out of it and could barely play drums at that point. After all of the delays in recording, and the fact that it's a double double album, why wouldn't they just get Matt to play the drums on it, and either add it to the other parts (I'm assuming this was click track), or just re-record the entire song? They were satisfied with the result, and there was a lot of other work to be done.
