yourcrazy Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 I saw the. At Rock on the Range and thought he sounded great. Seems like since the PA show he has been really good. Not sure what changed but he has great control and is using more rasp where it's needed. Pretty much everything except paradise city. The This I Love video posted in this thread sound about perfect. One thing I'm noticing at the more recent shows is that he's not all over the place with his pitch. He's pretty much pitch perfect in what little I've watched, which is a huge improvement from earlier in the year. It seems like he has a plan for songs like YCBM now, and while it's obviously not optimal, it's better than hearing him flail around trying to hit rasp and end up singing the entire song off-key in a non-existent midrange. magisme Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 The fact that we're losing our minds over these performances proves just how bad things have been. He sounds OK in Vegas. Really good in specific spots, but still just OK overall.
