cineater
I saw him with Marshall Tucker in a small ice arena right before both bands hit it big back in the 70's. My mother met him on a plane, nice guy. RIP

lame ass security
He was a great musician, worked with a lot of people before making it. I saw an interview with him where he was working a session with Bob Dylan and it wasn't working out on a certain song. He said some of the session guys didn't want to say anything but Charlie spoke up and said "Bob, why don't we just do it in a different key?" He said Bob shot him a look and said, "Hey man, thanks, that just might work." And it did. He thought Bob was going to tear into him for speaking up but he appreciated it instead. I would like to think the song was KOHD but I don't know. Edit: I just checked the musician's roll call for KOHD on wikipedia and Charlie wasn't on it.
