Yes, beginnings of rock songs would be a great choice in general and Guns in particular – with SCOM being the most obvious one – but I just sort of can’t make myself have this approach to something that is art. To use it as a cheap sound to be interrupted any time someone calls and I pick up. And that’s the other part of the problem: Since I’d like the given song, if someone called, I’d never pick up, and so nobody would get through! Plus, they’d give up, and the song would get interrupted again. And if there’s something I’m allergic to, it’s interrupting my songs! So screw it.
