whatashame Posted August 28, 2023 Share Posted August 28, 2023 Sorry for those who already know but since the whole GnR universe is on its 3rd lap at best, I was just wanted to say I remembered from a long, log time ago when me and the gang were smoking a bowl the other night and it was my turn to choose a song. I wanted GNR and was too kooky to fool around with a playlist so went for Don't Cry and just about the time for the last puff puff otta the bong there was the "and gimme a whisper *inhale*" / wait / wait / wait / "and gimme a sigh *exhale*". Never heard that fragment in that context but as of now, it makes a perfect sense! here's that queued up for ya that's just about the time when Axl made that comment about putting drug references into songs. Check a4d for that. And also, while we're at it, I posted the 2nd one many moons ago and of corse It got moderated, but check this one out from VR The Last Fight. I queued up that for ya. There's Weiland make the sniffing gesture, like he sniffed a whole line himself, and the sniffing sound in the song, having nothing to do with music or lyrics. Just cool to know.
