i voted for prince because to me, his music, unlike michael's, sort of has a signature direction, or "style," kind of... like, you can definately tell it's prince when the music starts/before he starts singing... that is not to say that with michael, it's a bad thing that you can't always tell it's DEFINATELY him before he starts singing, but i just hapen to prefer prince's approach to making music a little more.

I can't decide:

Thriller is my 2nd favorite album, but Prince is my favorite solo artist and when I saw him in concert last year, he still has it. Michael kinda went downhill after thriller
