It also gave me a chance to travel and meet people. Its also where I met my then-girlfriend, now-wife at the last Argentina concert (thats why its one of my favourites ). I even got to meet the band on several occasions, I even met and spoke to Izzy and Axl before the 'dreaded' St. Louis incident happened, and I had a drinks with Slash in london in 91. I havent had the privilige to meet any of the current band. But I'm going to try and see if I can get tickets to go the next California gig and hopefully have the chance to meet them.Fuck me dude. Can you adopt me just so I am guranteed a few GNR gigs whenever they're on tour? That's insane. You've been to nearly all the classic shows I'd rate the best. Muchos respect. I had expected Hammersmith to be the best before I went, but the sound quality at the venue let the band down badly... seen a number of people at the Apollo and it's never been great. Gutted that Axl had to leave early on Sunday as I'm sure we missed out on a few tracks - the sound and performance was electrifying, and showed me that GnR were back to their best.
