lame ass security
Just yesterday I was reading a book about the Stones. Pretty good. I read this one chapter about a gig the Stones played in 1969 near San Francisco. It was called Altamont. It was music festival with a bunch of bands. It ending up being a near riot when the Hell Angels started beating and stabbing people. Rolling Stones in AltamontHell Angels Altamont picsThere's a documentary film called "Gimme Shelter" about the concert and the events leading up to it, including the stabbing death of Meredith Hunter at the hands of a Hell's Angel. It's considered to be one of the best documentaries ever.

rock chick
If you don't like the Stones, you have no right to call yourself a rock fan. That is utter bullshit, I am a rock fan but I dislike The Rolling Stones. You can't say that someone isn't a fan of a certain type of music just because they don't like one band
Calm Like A Bomb
I love them, Sticky Fingers is one of the greatest albums ever.

What should I get first?Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers or Exile On Main Street and you won't be dissapointed. Thanks man, I'll have to check those out.I wouldn't suggest starting with Exile,if you're looking to check out the Stones...that's not a good starting point for the novice fan.Exile is an aquired taste.Let It Bleed or Sticky Fingers for sure..even Beggar's Banquet.Perhaps even start with a collection like 40 Licks. But don't start with Exile...get your feet wet before you jump in the deep end. but hey...that's just my opinion

SlashRock
I didn't post the picture for that reason. I wrote 'the only band to feature a corpse' and someone replied 'Bez?' so I put a pic up of Keith to show who I mean't by the walking corpse. I didn't think it was so hard to understand!
