aussie_axl
i like to wait to judge popular music, you know, wait till the hype is over and see if it has any staying power, and i have to say, this is an epic song by green day, a 9 min monster, and my fav from them, anyone else like it? Sweet Raptured Light
i like to wait to judge popular music, you know, wait till the hype is over and see if it has any staying power, and i have to say, this is an epic song by green day, a 9 min monster, and my fav from them, anyone else like it?It is on my top five favorite green day songs, and it is the second best song on American Idiot. jack99
I love that song, I feel the same way about 'Homecoming'. It's a really cool setup and they both rock all the way!

UYIllusion
I need to listen to Homecoming based on the above comments. Never been a big Green Day fan (I enjoy some of their songs I hear on the radio), but I love Jesus of Suburbia. Its the only songs of theirs I have downloaded and have played it to death
pain cake
Great great song, glad to see no one here follows the trend (and yes it is a trend) of hating green day (not to say people don't genuinely hate them, but they would have a valid reason unlike most)
bluesy
Greenday always had a social message and I have massive respect for them as songwriters. Jesus of Suburbia is a superb track that blows my mind! I don't dig punk music that much, but these guys do it for me by the loads. Hell yes! ssiscool
don't like it. it just seems to go on and on and on
Leigh-Rok!
I thought, along with the rest of the album, that it was sensational. I made the grand mistake of playing it over and over and over and over again... I now no longer want to hear it.
Shuffle
Great great song, glad to see no one here follows the trend (and yes it is a trend) of hating green day (not to say people don't genuinely hate them, but they would have a valid reason unlike most)Yup, I'm shocked there haven't been a single reply that says "Green Day SUCKS!!!!" yet.Anyways great song from a great album, although I wouldn't call it epic despite being 9 minutes, it's more in the way of a 5 (short) song-medley. young_person
I once liked that song, and that whole album. But, to me, Green Day just got old quickly. Now, their stuff just bores me to death.
Gallagher Rose
It's a fuckin' masterpiece, and I have been saying this since 2004,when American Idiot came out.The entire album is fantastic, that's why it sold 16 million worldwide.

Slash Guitarist
I like "Homecoming" more.Yeah 'Homecoming' is loads better. But Jesus Of Suburbia is pretty good. 'Give Me Novacaine' is the best on the album but i aint a huge fan. I much prefer their early stuff.... like really early 1989 - 1991 stuff.
