Georgy Zhukov
You ever heard of the heavenly version of You Love Us? Very poppy towards the end.Just received The Holy Bible 10th Anniversary Edition which includes a DVD and the US Mix of The Holy Bible. Far superior mix to the U.K. You can hear everything. I like both versions just fine but the quality of the Mix is a bit cleaner. Also received Lipstick Traces: The Secret History of the Manic Street Preachers. I plan on getting National Treasures and I will be hold over until Rewind the Film comes out.Even Nicky is saying the 12th Album is going to be the third album in that trilogy with The Holy Bible and Journal for Plague Lovers. Does that mean we will get left over Richey lyrics?
wasted
I hope so. I cant remember what they said about those. Something like there were more but couldnt decipher them.I had all the heavenly singles at some point. You love us had a Lust for life breakdown at the end. The GT versions arent as good. The New Art Riot ep was pretty bad. I also had all the cd singles for Everything must go and Truth. Lipstick basically covers it and has the remixes from the cd singles. If u get the right National Treasures you get a disc of all the videos which I enjoyed.
Georgy Zhukov
If they do another singles compilation I will be all set.
wasted
I think they could do an Anthology with rarities mixed in with live songs. but Lipstick kind of covers that in a way. Plague Lovers supposedly didn't have any singles. After the next two albums they almost beable to put out another Best of album.Have they put out a live album? there was that o2 live dvd, which I think comes with the super deluxe version of National Treasures? Georgy Zhukov
No life album, doesn't seem like something they'd be into. They didn't want to promote Journal for Plague Lovers,it was more of a treat for the fans who missed Richey's lyrics.
ADPT
I didn't even know about the new album until I randomly saw the listing online. What a pleasant surprise. In regards to singing in German I think Bradfield said that song is about the general malaise in Europe and the UK's somewhat ambivalent relationship with it. wasted
Supposedly that's the theme of the Holy Bible 3. With a krautrock influence, almost sounds like a My Chemical Romance album. When is Show Me The Wonder out?No life album, doesn't seem like something they'd be into. They didn't want to promote Journal for Plague Lovers,it was more of a treat for the fans who missed Richey's lyrics. The cover of Plague Lovers was banned in Tescos or something. I remember watching some day time tv show refering to it as art and this shouldn't happen to great albums. Then nicky came back with Postcards. They seem to be doing the same thing with Rewind the Film and Holy Bible 3. I wonder if Richey is still alive writing lyrics somewhere and sending them to them. Georgy Zhukov
They need to release another compilation of b-sides and include this
wasted
Patrick Bateman? it would be cool if a brett easton ellis character did a monologue about Motorcycle Emptiness.
The Real McCoy
These guys have WAY too many b-sides. It's almost impossible to track all of them down.
Chinaski
They need to release another compilation of b-sides and include this BatemanYes! I'm pretty sure I've got like 50 of their b-sides on my computer from some fan made compilation and that's one of the only ones I actually go back to pretty regularly. James sounds cool as fuck on it. Edited July 21, 2013 by Chinaski
wasted
It's kind of the bridge between Gold and Bible. It's Richey crossing the line to become something special.I feel so stupid like a joke that belongs. Edited July 22, 2013 by wasted
wasted
This is My Truth is really nice to listen to on speakers. The early ones are good for blasting on headphones. Truth, Lifeblood and Postcards are great at home with a bit of hovering/binge drinking.

wasted
It sounds a bit like a Happy Mondays song, maybe it's just nothern soul influenced. This isn't as suicidal as Rewind the Film anyway. They are basically powerhouses every time they come back they do it again.
Georgy Zhukov
I really like it. I don't know how these guys do it. After so many years they can still release great singles.

wasted
I understand what they meant about it being like Truth now. Lush instrumentation, this is a bit more pop than rock though."we measure the nostalgia"?
