Amir
Anyone had a chance to try out a VR Kit? I played with a Vive in a PC shop today and it was amazing. Shooting flying robots in Space Pirate, making coffee in Job Simulator, drawing a T-Rex in Tilt Brush... But the game I'm most looking forward to is Rez Infinite. The original on Dreamcast is one of my all time favourite games.
Axls_Moustache_Rules
Ps VR will be huge. Preorders online already selling out. VR is the next big step. Video games are almost a non issue. Virtual reality guns n roses shows pls. Eve valkerie looks aight
dork_number_108
I think the HTC Vive looks most promising for the kind of use I am hoping to get out of this. Luckily I didn't buy a 3d tv. What a scam.
JeanGenie
Today its something for nerds. In ten years when the hardware is more potent or the programming gets more efficient its going to be awesome.
Dazey
Just picked up an Alienware desktop on the cheap. Need to upgrade the GPU but when I do I'll be getting a VR headset ASAP. Was gonna get a Titan X but I'm hearing good things about the GTX 1080 so I'm undecided.

downzy
Judging from this review of the HTC Vive, it looks like we might have a while before VR is ready for the masses: http://qz.com/676467/the-simple-reason-why-apple-wont-release-a-vr-system-anytime-soon/ Lots of promise, but if it really takes that amount of effort and time into setting up the machine, no thanks. Chewbacca
Nope, didn't have the chance. This one in particular looks promising, way more than Virtual Boy, but VR is a concept that failed a couple, or more, attempts in the past, so, it is something that I would wait and think twice before buying. Amir
It failed before because the tech wasn't there. It's here now, and it's amazing. If I had the money I'd buy a Vive and build a high-end PC.
Strange Broue
I'd say VR needs 3-4 years to become mainstream. Until then, only 1-2 K nerds or rich kids will experience it On 2016. 05. 24. at 2:13 AM, Dazey said: Just picked up an Alienware desktop on the cheap. If you need to upgrade the GPU, then i highly doubt that you've made a great deal That being said, GTX 1080 is slightly better and "cheaper" if you really wanna go down on the high-end route
Amir
Had some vouchers for Curry's/PCWorld from work so I got a Rift + Touch for £270. Spent 2 hours playing Rez Infinite last night. Beautiful.
