Appetite for Distortion - Ep. 101 - Doug Goldstein and Dr. Stephen Thaxton talk UYI tour and GNR Chiropractics!

Recommended Posts

Former Guns N' Roses manager returns and this time he brought a friend. Dr. Stephen Thaxton, a chiropractor from West Virginia. Why? Because his first chiropractic job was touring with Guns N' Roses for over 2 years! He's also been on tour with Bon Jovi the past couple decades.

Dr. Steve has some of the most surreal and funny GNR stories you've never heard! And Doug does a great job his first time as guest co-host!

Another great interview @Gambit83.  Hilarious stories.  I don't blame you for not pressing on why Dr. Thaxton and Axl don't speak anymore.  It seems like for better or for worse Axl purged himself of those UYI relationships after the band fell apart.  I guess a few like Del James, Marc Canter and some others were able to stick around.

I not know that Axl's sister is nurse, this is new to me.

Axl mentioned during his China Exchange interview in 2016 that when he broke his foot at the troubadour, he immediately texted his sister because she was a nurse.
