  1. There's been a lot of good bass lines mentioned ie: Flea, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Honorable Mention: Michael Anthony, Van Halen "Runnin with the devil"

I know its pretty simple to play, but its great.

    rock3

  2. The first VH album is probably the best. However, the very first VH album I ever got was "Women & Children First". The second I heard ".and the cradle will rock". I was hooked. So I voted for that one.

I love all Van Halen albums, except for VH-3 with Gary Cherone. That was a mistake. Every other one is great, yes.. even those with Sammy Hagar. Most people hate Sammy because he's not Dave. And they still are not over it. Well, get over it! Diamond Dave left all on his own. He wanted to go solo and make a movie. The movie was canned, and he did OK solo for a few years.

    Now he's going into radio.

  3. what kinda music do they make? to which bands can you compare them?

    I've never heard of 'em.

Just my opinion, but I think they sound like Stevie Ray Vaughn/Rolling Stones and Lynard Skynnard all mixed together. Good band.

  4. Anybody have the "Amorica"(spelling may be wrong) album with the pubic hair showing on the cover? I got it before the censors got their hands on it.

And, Chris Robinson is one lucky SOB to be banging Goldie Hawns daughter.

  5. Van Halen - Fair Warning

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Agreed. Even though it did go platinum, it didn't sell as well as their other albums.

Great hard rock guitar oriented album. Some of Ed's best work. And their stage setup that year was awesome, with tons of amps/speakers stacked behind them.

  6. Love the Crowes. Saw them in 1992.

I even bought some Black Crowes rolling papers. I tried to save them for a keepsake but................................................well, their all gone now. But they did come in handy.

  7. "Still Loving You" is an awesome song.

The Scorpions are a damn good band. Had the pleasure of seeing them once on the Monsters of Rock Tour in 1987, opening for Van Halen.

  8. Some christian band

I went too some party with my freinds and then they made everyone at the party  too go down the stair too watch some people play

They started playing the intro to coopers poison

And started singin about jesus <_<

    Was it Stryper?

  9. I like Whitesnake. I saw them in 86-87 opening for Motley Crue.

    BAND:(1986-87 era)

    David Coverdale- Singer

    Tommy Aldrich - Drums

    Rudy Sarzo - Bass

    A.Vanderburg - Guitar

    ???????? -Guitar

Who was the other guitarist that year? Was it the guy who is now in Def Leppard??

    I can't remember.

  10. Elvis was no. 10? Only fucking 10? That is the worst list in the history of lists!  :anger:  How in the fuck could they put the King at number 10?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Agreed. The king should definitely be at least as high as Marlon Brando, for the love of christ. I liked Brando, but give me a break, this is the King of Rock n Roll.

I wonder where Michael Jackson ended up?
