I think in the light of Axl's form in AC/DC and the pause after the first Guns shows, we can consider those shows mere warm-up and expect something bigger now.

I don't really pay attention to that man any more. From what I've learned, his agenda basically says that anything that isn't Appetite for Destruction (music, line-up, whatever) is complete shit.

I’ve given it a couple of days, and it only happens now when I click on the main banner, so I just avoid that and all is fine. Anyway, thanks for the help (including PMs).

With all due respect though:

1. Axl didn't take one full band picture in the last 20 years. 

2. How would an interview ruin or take away from the concerts? I'm not sure why you wouldn't respect Axl for doing an interview about what might be the biggest reunion in rock history. 

So if you respect Axl for not doing GnR interviews, does that mean you dont respect ACDC and Axl for doing their interviews?

NOW if Andy starts Bonk game one at state and Fousel game two - we could easily see a Ktn-Sitka state title. 3. We've got actually proof that Axl rehearsed with ACDC. Is there any proof at all that he has rehearsed with GnR? We know that back as far as Illusions that he rarely did. Obviously he must have practiced in his OWN. But did Axl join Ashba and Dizzy in a studio and practice for hours on end? Clearly not. 

4. I should have caveated that. Axl has been on time for a couple years. But pre-2013-ish he was pretty famous for being an hour to three hours late. 

1) But the reunion is a whole new chapter, so I say the clock is reset now. Yes, there weren’t many new GNR pics (there are some from 2006 though), but that’s a closed chapter now. And like I said, I think these things are coming. Or at least I hope so.

2) Because nobody knew what they were gonna play and even who was gonna play it (except for the holy trinity). Why would they tell it in advance? How about the surprise and expectation elements?
Like I said, I believe the interviews will come, only there was probably no right moment or time for that yet. What with the whole AC/DC thing and all. Again, these are my hopes.

As for the rehearsals, we know Axl was in the studio during the Chinese era and recording; as for Ashba, they did work together, DJ even said that (13 songs, remember?). But later, Axl might not have been there anymore, who knows, and that’s yet another chapter – as to why and what happened and how did the old Guns get back together – I would certainly love to have some light shed on that!

4) Yes, although those "3 hours" seem too much, that was in the 90s. My response concerned the fact you were comparing the Axl/DC show-starts as if the last few years prior to this Guns were constantly 3 hours late – at least that’s how it sounded to me. No biggie.

Fans have always defended or given Axl a break about no interviews and no pictures (he doesn't owe us anything) and no rehearsals or showing up late.  "That's just how Axl operates, deal with it."

Why is Axl willing to do all those things with his side gig, but not with his baby, GnR?

1) They’ve only started with the Guns reunion. I reckon the promotion, interviews and the likes will come later. They’ve only had a few shows and then a pause.

2) Apparently, they decided to let the music do the talking and not to give it all away in interviews in advance. I understand and respect that.

3) Axl obviously rehearsed with GN’R a lot. Or do you think they pulled Coma, Twat and others out of their asses just like that?

4) I think Guns are starting on time now too. There are definitely not any three-hour late starts.

I’m kinda new here, although I registered in 2006. I just wanted to say hi and a few words about me – sorry if this is not the right thread. I’m from the Czech Republic and been a fan since 1992. Originally I was at cd.com (and newgnr even before), but that’s basically dead and/or full of t.r.o.l.l.s now. I’d been coming here for a long time, but it was only now I thought I should finally register (again).
On my way here I made a little detour through HTGTH, which I’d known for a long time as well. But I gotta tell you, it was largely a mistake. You are basically not really allowed to express your opinion unless it’s 100% positive and bright and exultant all the time. It doesn’t matter how many positive posts you might have made about Axl or the band – once it’s not perfectly positive all the way, you’re automatically stigmatized as a hater and are disrespectful of the band, blah blah – because these people think and act in a strictly black-and-white way; there is absolutely nothing in between, you’re either with them, or you’re against them. You either write only positive things or you’re a negative t.r.o.l.l. Jarmo and his minions rule their fascist forum with a goddamn iron fist. He apparently feels the urge to control every single thread, and woe is you if you write something he doesn’t approve of! Over the time, I’ve learned that he’s basically a sad pathetic little man who apparently thinks he is if not god, then at least a regular GN’R member – although in reality he’s just a little stupid freak with a website.
Anyway, that’s behind me, sorry for the negativity, let’s be positive here! I’ve been lurking here now and then, and this forum seems to be the best one in the market anyway! Just the coverage of Axl/DC itself is overwhelming. What I appreciate the most – beside the tons of information etc. – is the freedom of speech here (and I definitely don’t mean negative trolling, that obviously sucks).
So I hope for some good times here!

Seriously. And Axl is gonna front AC/DC.
- Are you stoned or somethin’?
And he’s gonna sound like he hasn’t since 1993!
- Dude, seriously, go to bed…

For me, these are the most exciting times since 1992. Other years were cool too – 2006 and 2010 in particular – but 2016 is just absolutely mind-blowing.

Hello, I’m kinda new here and wanted to create an account. Then I see the name is already being used and I figure I registered in 2006, just haven’t been posting.

Now the problem: when I log in (and make sure the "always stay logged in" is checked), I stay in just on the main site, but whenever I go pretty much anywhere else, I’m suddenly not signed in any more. I browsed this section and deleted the cookies in the browser as per the advice, but it didn’t help.

Should I create another nick name with yet another e-mail address, or can this be mended? And what if I create a new one and it happens again...
