Just got done seeing Queen. So how is it on a scale of Rio 2011/Bridge School/Golden Gods to Axl/DC?
The stuff on the left... Axl is nowhere near his 2016 GNR form.

are you sure? I have a couple of interviews from 2002, but all of them happened before the Philly riot.
some interview seems to be related to Vancouver riot that happened a couple of weeks before Philly riot.
Not sure (might have been a different year then), but I definitely remember Axl explaining why he was a no-show.
Edit:
I remember Axl saying the promoter was super nervous (given their reputation) and having found out Axl is not there yet, he cancelled the whole thing, with Axl still being on the plane. -
He did do an interview in 2002/03 where he was talking via phone on a plain (maybe with Kurt Loder), explaining it, iirc.

Why in hell does he look like he just crawled out of a garbage can?
Because he's a millionaire and he can afford it.
Unlike us. It's all twisted around - we often wear all these fancy pretentious clothes and yet have fuck all...

That Axl can be on time when it's necessary.
That Slash has evolved and is even better than before.
That when sufficient time passes, even huge misunderstandings and feuds can be settled.
That some fans are never satisfied.

What a fucking show! Haven’t really slept yet, but I’ll just post a few details worth noticing that I remember as of now.
- Not only did they start on time, they were a few minutes early, it wasn’t even 19.15.
- The crowd went nuts as soon as ISE started. (Well duh.) Overall very cheering and chanting along, even Axl commented on that somewhere during the show.
- Axl was in a nice shape. He didn’t talk that much, but when he did, he was joking around all the time. He said there were a lot of us motherfuckers, asked how we were etc. Before the second part of NR started, a roadie brought him a bottled beer, he drunk it, went "aaaah" and then continued; at the end he said this was no product placement and that actually he drinks this beer back home, and they call it "Czechweiser" or something along those words.
- When introducing one of the songs, Axl said it was a nice song about interrelationships etc., turned to Slash, who apparently wasn’t paying attention, and Axl jokingly said "one’s introducing a nice song about relationships, and Slash goes 'Huh!?'".
- There was some little issue in the front centre, but nothing serious, and Axl dealt with it with a smile.
- Maybe the fact there were so many people and that the feedback was overall good had something to do with this show being reportedly the longest one of the EU tour so far. The encore itself had 5–6 songs, and as was already said, we got Used to Love Her, My Michelle, Yesterdays... they all were there. Even though my back was killing me, I still enjoyed that. The crowd was awesome, and it was great to see people of all generations. I took a couple of pictures, but have already seen better ones on the net, so I won’t post ‘em.
- You could see GN’R t-shirts all over the Prague subway, as there was a certain closure/detour there, rendering some underground areas as well as buses etc. overcrowded. People almost thrashed my wristwatch as I was trying to get into one of the tubes! But everything was all right. For me, the fact itself that I could see so many fellow fans in one place and all around was awesome.
- Axl’s voice was pretty steady. Yes, he uses the rasp advisedly, sparingly, and doesn’t put it in those middle positions so much any more, but there are many occasions where he goes full rasp – and that’s a gooseflesh material, my friends. Seeing a show like that also makes one realize how petty and stupid and absurd those bickerings here about Axl’s voice are. Ridiculous. Not to mention that various threads are repeatedly, pointlessly hijacked with this shit.
- The band is tight, and I was also surprised to hear some songs actually in a slightly slower tempo, unlike e.g. Nightrain, which is faster as compared with the 90s. But Slash, Slash is a real beast. The sheer amount of notes he plays in those solos of his... If someone tells you they sometimes could hear a mistake, tell them to fuck off, because the style Slash plays and the fact he rarely looks at his fingers... there’s no way he isn’t improvising to a certain degree (that’s obvious). Yes, Slash steals the show.
- Overall, it was just awesome. All I needed was just a little patience (25 years) to see the Holy Trinity together. And it was fucking worth the wait. Hope to see them again someday soon. Maybe in some two years, touring a new record?Sorry for my Eng. and style, haven’t slept etc.

Oh and Axl sounded just like in the 90s on Only Women Bleed.

Hoooly fuck, what a show! Slash indeed is a beast, and the encore must have had 5 or 6 songs!

As for the schedule, it should go like this:
Doors 16:00
Jesse Jo Stark 17:15
Biffy Clyro 18:05
Guns N’ Roses 19:15http://www.ticketpro.cz/en/hudba/rock/2016733-guns-n-roses.html

I’m sooo looking forward to this. I became a fan in 92, and they were in Prague (a different location from the tomorrow’s one though), but I was only ten, so I missed that. It was the famous show where they played DC Alt. Lyrics – one of the only two opportunities they’ve ever done that.
Then I saw them in 2006 and 2010, but this will be the first time I’ll see the original members. Well, I know it’s worth the wait. And all I needed was... just a little patience. 25 years, to be precise.

1) It wouldn't be remastered, it would be re-recorded.
2) There's no point. That era is over, Slash and Duff are back, and we want new music from these 3 guys.
3) Now if there should be something from "CD II" re-recorded with Slash and included on the new album, that would be a different story, I wouldn't be against a few tracks, but that depends on a variety of factors.

They'll release a dvd and then start compiling a new record. I mean, that would be the best case scenario. All during 2018.

Right, there's never enough threads about Axl's vocal performance!

These comparisons are all lame, sheesh. Slash is neither better nor worse than David Gilmour, they are just two different guitarists! The same goes for the singers. You are comparing incomparable, that's idiotic.

Awesome! Along with the Shackler's Revenge back then, the best fan vid I've seen to date.

I don't get it. People know what the setlist is roughly gonna be, yet they buy tickets and then go and bitch and moan on forums. Where's the logic in that? Anyone?

1. First Axl & Slash pic from the Troubadour via periscope. It's really happening. First pic of them on the stage together since 93.
2. First Coma live.

Maybe, just maybe a small Troubadour dvd to be released on July 21st...?

No, in a general sense, it actually WAS promoted as a special AfD thing, radio or not. Or it was heavily implied, let's say. One would have expected Axl at least mentioning something on the stage. Why didn't he? He's surely aware of that, right?
