Remember Axl talking about the Sebastian Bach guest appearance as something like a great package to the fans with the songs on Bachs album showing some other sides (vocally?) and he also promised the release of CD wich finally came out a year later

Yes it did, but I think Axl will not record just for another artist, he has or will record with GnR as well

You dont know that Besides, Axl himself said that they had changed the chorus after they played it live. I guess he meant that he replaced the old chorus with Absurd

To release Absurd as the first single after the comeback was an "absurd" Axl Rose move, but I also think that song has a special place for him. It seems they want to release a more commercial single now and hopefully promote it in some way. Perhaps is one of the more catchier songs (all CD songs included) and is more reminiscent of UYI-era Guns n Roses. And we know that Axl and Co are (or maybe management) reading the boards as many of the changes in setlists, which songs (remember the petition for Estranged on here, Coma and more) etc. is actually wanted from the hardcore fanbase. He knows that both HardSkool and Perhaps got a pretty good response on here from the hardcore base

I believe there is more tracks with lyrics and vocals from the Village demos, but if there isnt: What is the reason? Severe writers Block? Do you think the tracks lack lyrics or just the vocal melodies? We know there were ideas for vocal melodies to Quick song and lyrics to Oklahoma/Berlin.

A very good song, the chorus with Axl singing melodic over his aggressive shouty vocals is brilliant, the strings/synth also gives a more epic feel. Lets hope that Slash have contributed some good shit

Ok. Good news! I take this as the new single will be part of the new album. This way the delay also makes sense, part of the new album is reworked Chinese tracks and the other is a combination of old Apettite demos and new stuff from Slash/Duff. He said with confidence that the Band WILL work more on the new album from October
