I'm just wating for a new cd to play the shit out of. GNR has lasted all these years and although, to me, it's not the REAL GNR, I still do like Axl's voice a lot so I'm sure I'll play it for years to come

what exactly does it take to "stay loyal" to axl rose, not insult him?

An Album?

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm beyond frustrated with all this waiting. Honestly think about how much time and energy you've put towards wanting this album. Years and years have passed and thousands of die-hards have stayed loyal to Axl and the new band by never giving up hope. The thing that Axl does not understand is that thousands who read these boards are ones who rarely criticize or attempt to flame the band for bad setlists. Most people on here are huge fans who use these boards to get information about a band which tries its hardest to keep everything secret.

Now, after all of these years, all of the silence, all of the "one-step forward, two steps backward" incidents that have occured, we have been told that an album will be delivered to us this year. Praise God - this is what we've been waiting for - now just tell us when - just give us a date. It could have been an Oct date, a Nov date, or a Dec date. We just want something written in stone to look forward to. We've waited long enough. We deserve to know when.

Nope. Axl won't do that for his loyal, long-suffering fans who will be the first to buy his masterpiece by the way. We don't need a catchy single, or a great concert to coerce us into rushing to the store. We'll be there first thing in the morning probably buying more than one copy.

Instead, Axl fucks with us one more time. No release date? It will just be there one Tuesday? This is being spun by the Axelites as "brillant marketing, genius, no one's ever done this before" You know what the real reason is - Axl doesn't want to commit to a certain date so he simply keeps everything secret so when he fails to deliver, he hasn't really lied. Problem is...time's running out. It's almost Thanksgiving and we still know nothing.

It sucks being a fan of something or someone who continually lets you down and pisses you off.

This one comes up when you search Google for "Chinese Democracy," and it's obviously Photoshopped.

The other was the supposed COVER ART for the entire album:

This one comes up in Google when you search for "AC/DC Wing." It's pretty clear to me that it's a fake.

When he opens up his myspace "send message" option again, you can email him that way. As for sending him a ton of messages he DOES have the option of not replying. There's no need to pretend to be his mom and tell people not to message him. Bumblefoot is a grown man. He can handle himself

It'll never be seen. It's a personal project. It's not anything that fans would be interested in seeing anyway.

It probably has to do with Axl's spiritual advisors telling him there's "bad energy" or some crap at the show and he shouldn't play

Well, the show is obviously old news and you can't take back the past so I'm over it. What I don't like is how Merck (why is this guy always trying to be in the spotlight? Let Axl or another band member speak up more) pretty much gives the seal of approval to a website that caters to the PR side of GNR. I know may of you have already pointed this out but it just bothers me. It feels like if one even wanted to try to make another GNR fansite, don't bother because HTGTH is the best in their eyes. I didn't get real offended by what Del James had to say either. After watching how slowly that guy's mind works in that interview for the 'Making of Estranged" video, you can tell he's not the brightest in the world and probably had to have a grownup help him write the article. All I REALLY care about is the release of the album and not all the chick drama the band throws at the fans who want to be treated with respect

Everyone wants the album to come out. Why shouldn't they speculate? Who are you to tell them that they can't?

Speculation's fine. But do we need a "Such and such says this is the date." 10 times over? If anything it should be one thread so new fans and older fans alike don't come to this site getting their heart set on ONE release date and being disappointed.
