  1. don't worry people, jay-z only officially confirmed his album release on november 20th today, and the 'new' beatles album was only confirmed today for a november 20th release date, so we shouldn't start worrying for another few weeks yet

yeah but jay-z has been touring and already released a single. for the beatles, meh, they broke up 36 years ago. it's not like people have been waiting years for new material. there's more at stake here for "gnr"

  2. Honestly, I think a lot of the hardcore fans are being pessimistic right now just to kinda soften the blow if, God forbid, this is a rehash of 2002. I know Axl has said a couple times that "It is this year." But he made similar comments in 2002. You know, the whole "It feels right." and "Its time to wrap up the baby" comments.

Im not saying that this isnt the year. It really seems like it is!!!

But I can see why some fans remain skepticle thus far. But in the end, they want it just as bad as you do. Maybe more.

What about the fax to MTV 10 YEARS AGO when he said "there ***will be*** a new album next summer with 12 songs and 3 songs for b-sides"

This guy has been saying the album is coming out for so many years it's not funny. Is it REALLY that hard to make? Has he figured out some new mystical way to make music that is SO secret that no band before him has ever attempted and the only drawback is that it takes years and years and $13 million? If it comes out, it comes out. Making thread after thread and wasting time wondering about the release and lecturing each other about how record companies work and when a single should come out etc is such a waste of time and energy. I'll be happy to see it released and I know it'll sell at least 2 million out of the box but how many more weird mind games till the next album?

  3. It's manufactured by Chrome Dreams, who were the guys behind the "Axl Rose: The Prettiest Star" and the "Guns N' Roses: Sex N’ Drugs N’ Rock N’ Roll" DVDs. They make a lot of unofficial biographies of bands, and they generally suck. They're cheap (like $5-10), but even paying that is a rip off for the substandard quality of their products. Seriously awful to watch... they never contain any proper footage/music of the band, and all their interviews are with like... ticket salesmen, and people that collect garbage after gigs.

That company should seriously be shut down for the crap they produce.

    ...In short, don't waste your time/money. :)

The prettiest star one had robert john and his footage. no sound from them since the music is copyrighted but at least there's video

  4. ^  !!..

    dude..your sig is hilarious..

but, then..I can feel for ya.. :(

    awww fuck..

I was watching that damn next show..

and, then turned it off to come online...

I would of missed it anyways..

I think Direct Effect, or someshit is on..and, I dont usually watch that..

but, this could be the start of promotion..

maybe somebody caught it, and recorded it..

or, Im gonna be watching MTV for the rest of the night.. ..

Yeah, MTV for the rest of the night... on my birthday...

    .... amazing.

DUDE! We got the same b-day! Happy birthday!

  5. You're just hitting a small group of people. Us hardcore fans. It's the mass mainstream that the album goes to as well. There's a ton of interest on this album and if Axl is saying that it's out this year in every inteview he's done this year, it should be out. But then again, who knows? I personally think he's holding back till stars align or something of that nature.

  6. Well, Axl said he hadn't seen Slash in 10 years at the Korn launch party and then in that press release it said that he saw him in October. There's your proof that it was a lie right there. It's all PR shit to make Axl look good since he needs a nicer public image
