The best gig since the old GNR days...or maybe of all time?
Oh hell no!
Too bad the GOOD sound kicked in when "You Could Be Mine" kicked in. It's too bad too because this would have been a great show to get a good soundboard recording from
-
I'm getting the Dizzy solo too. I think we're on like 1 hour tape delay dude
-
USA AOL stream is pretty all over the place. Ah well
-
Someone NEEDS to tell us if the 815EST feed from AOL USA sounds better...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I can't tell you yet since GNR hasn't played yer. The Darkness JUST finished and the sound was GREAT
-
How are you guys watching GNR already? Is my AOL stream taped or something?
-
I've noticed 3 things about VH1's filler shows
1. The "comedians" aren't funny
2. Most of the "comedians" have really bad teeth
3. The "comedians" can't seem to do anything else BUT bitch about other people on VH1
-
Who knows if these songs are going to be on the album anyway?
-
Maybe Buckethead's behind the leaks cos he's pissed that he ain't in the band no more lol.
Very credible sources say that Slash is leaking them so Axl will hire him back.
Hahaha
-
well it's no wonder that Axl doesn't really communciate with fans. I wouldn't talk to fans who carry on in a manner like that.
For years people whinged and complained that Axl was rarely seen, no news or anything.
Now he is doing shows and there is heaps of news and his been seen alot, people still whinge and complain.
So what he was late no need to cry about it.
Next time Axl is late and the crowd is very pissed off, go up on stage and tell them that. See what happens
-
FUCK EACH AND EVRY ONE OF YOU STUPID LUCKY MUTHAFUCKIN' BSTARDS.
i'd wait for hours just to see axl on stage again. like i did back in the '93. don't you fuckin' know he always shows up late just to prepare and give %100 of him for all of you?
AXL ROSE is sent by GOD to make great music FOR US, respect my ol' man, and obey him under any circumstances, AND YOUR PATIENCE WILL LEAD YOU TO 2-3 HOURS OF ULTIMATE ROCK N ROLL EXTRAVAGANZA.
It's cool that you support Axl/GNR but you're in the minority when it comes to arena employees, fans that have to get to work early the next day etc. I've come to expect a late show because I'm an older fan and familiar with it, but people who are new to GNR, the younger generation (who Axl also needs to sell records to in prder to pay off the $13million debt to the record coompany), aren't used to having bands they paid to see go on two hours late. It's somewhat of a turn off for them and it just makes the band look bad and makes it look like they don't care about the people who came to the show. If it was a one off occurence I hope but weren't the NY shows late by 1 hour? I myself wish the best for the band and hope that things will go smoothly and have nothing but great shows!

Subject: Izzy, Its Will from site
Hi izzy, its will from the izzy site. I have a personal favour to ask which you are welcome to ignore. I'd like to know if you plan on being a guest at either of GNR's UK shows? Download festival or Hammersmith Apollo. I would sincerely appreciate a 'heads up' if you plan on being at either show or in Europe. Any info you might pass my way will of course be appreciated.... cheers. will.

Wish I knew where you guys were getting these songs! I wanna hear em too!

I can't get over Robin's look. That outfit for the NY shows was just hideous. But he's a good player.
besides the mostly shaved head goth look from 02?
-
www.hollywoodroses.net
Robert John has even done shoots with them
-
Kinda bugs me that Jay Leno is going around and saying Tommy Hilfiger punched out Axl though
-
Man, youtube really kills the quality don't they?
-
Some breakage would occur and IF his hair was thinning and ASSUMING this is the reason for the inital application in the first place,
Check out that court case video from 1994 where he's on the witness stand, he was balding BIGTIME then. It's obviously a weave, anyone with good eyesight can see that. I just don't like the gotee. As far as the thing that matters most though, his voice, I wouldn't change a thing
I don't see why people complain about Axl's hair. His hairstyle looks damn good. At least he didn't pull a Hetfield, and cut his hair short.
He did cut his hair shot in 1998. Remember the mug shot photo?

Last night on the Tonight Show Jay joked about the Axl and Tommy fight, he said that Axl won't be pressing charges, he then followed by saying "duh, who wants to admit that they got beaten up by a fashion designer", anyone else catch the show last night?
Hmm, seems he's going the VH1 route: Make up your own "facts"
-
I heard they are shooting the video for IRS in England now.
Heard from where?
-
"They (the fans) don't like when I let them know they don't own me. Sometimes I don't even own myself". (April 1992)
Maybe that point of view changed in the past 14 years eh?
-
All these other assholes, who Axl considered friends, started spewing shit.
They probably didn't get along and had their reasons for being upset
-
Did anyone notice that that woman is squeezing Axls nipple in the seventh pic?
she's just grabbing his shirt
-
Why does Blender refer to Buckethead as a "Howard Stern look-alike"?

I keep seeing Axl having the time of his life in NYC and I can't help but speculate that this city has been good for him and encouraged him to get out and do this tour. I think California absolutely sucks and the people out there are fake and the vibe blows. New York City is so much more grounded and authentic and I think Axl needed that. He needed to go out and have fun in a real city. In California everyone you meet is so oportunitistic, they just tell you what you want to hear because they think you are going to do something for them. In NYC, nobody gives a shit about anybody else, they don't care who you are or better yet, who you think you are, they just want you to shut up and get the job done. I think the energy that NYC exudes was what Axl needed and by his constant praising of this city, I think his days of be a recluse in the hills of California are over! Notice how it isn't LA he is rewarding, it's NYC. Fuck yeah!
I live in So California and to an extent I agree. I'm assuming you've been here from your post. Where do you go when you came here?
