    When you owe your record company $13 million for an album that's been in the works 10 years, you BETTER work your ass off! :)

    Well he doesn't actually owe geffen the money, its kinda wierd. He doesn't have to pay them back until cd is released. Also you think there'd be decent boots if they were gonna shoot a dvd for release?? i think not.

    Most likley a video or bonus disc footage if anything at all.

    Slap the dvd together with the cd and it'll sell VERY well

    I hear that at the shows there was a professional camera crew.

    Is this confirmed?

    Does that mean we will see a dvd soon?

    I would think so. Axl owes about, what, $13million to the record company for the recording of CD? Either a free dvd to get people to buy it or a standalone to be released on the same day as the cd release would be a smart thing to do

    Eh, I wouldn't be surpised if GNR played. They're in New York and there's no show concert scheduled for tonight right?

    The bottom line is Izzy left Guns N' Roses in 1991 because he did not have the intention of getting so big like Axl wanted to, which means he doesn't want mass-field / stadium tours, that he doesn't want to shoot videos...so I don't think he would want to join Axl. And certainly Axl wouldn't stop his intentions just so he can play with Izzy.

    a friend of mine that works at rolling stone told me that vince neil down played GNR's tour calling it a fluke and that axl won't even make most of the shows.

    i think vince needs to keep his chubby ass out of a rock god's buisness.

    I don't think ANYONE'S opinion is going to keep me from enjoying any music :)

    Well, tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it...

    You gotta be more specific.

    It was during the Illusion tour that Axl pretty much ambushed the band by saying "sign this contract and it'll give me the GNR name. Don't sign it and the tour is cancelled." Duff and Slash signed the contract just to get through the shows. Slash mentioned this in an interview I think last year or so

    I'm not sure how many of these were made but I was one of the people who got a copy of Live Era 87-93 that was messed up. You know, the songs from disk one are on disk 2 and vice versa and Paradise City was screwed up. My question is, how much do you guys figure one of these is worth? Also, were many of them produced?

    I was pissed when I bought 'Contraband' because I could not put the songs on my iPod. The protection on that is insane.

    So I just downloaded them from LimeWire. The band already got my money once. I am not paying for the CD and then paying again for iTunes.

    Really? I just disabled the copy protection codec when I bought the cd
