  1. The one thing that is weird, when guns were big, they did all kinds of things for publicity, izzy on a plane and an ash tray spings to mind.

FOR PUBLICITY? Or were they just REALLY messed up on drugs?

  2. So, if Slash (and possibly Duff) DID rejoin GNR, what would happen to the album? Would they decide to go back and re-record their parts on Chinese Democracy? Would Axl fold so easily after working with those who would be replaced by Slash or Duff? Would Slash or Duff want to tour in support of an album they didn't play on?

  3. Don't mind those bias idiots ignoring your words because you said X or Y, that's sheer dumbness.

I agree with you my friend, I won't be seeing axl and his friends, the only reason I just might end up in a gnr concert is buckethead, and that's it.

axl treats you like shit and you idolize him

Geez dude, if you're gonna quote someone AT LEAST run a spell check!

  4. I just think it's marketing. To create a buzz. Axl shows up and rolling tone interviews him, then the leaks, then tour dates. Companies use "leaks" as marketing all the time. Asking sites to take the songs down is more of a "formality" when you're the one doing the leaking anyway.

    Just what I think

  5. He said he heard the album in full a month ago orso. And that is was great. He swallowed back his words after hearing it and now is pretending he always praised Axl.

I used to like Slash a lot, now I think he is a suckup industry whore who plays very trivial solos.

Kinda sucks when someone you don't know doesn't measure up to your standars eh?

  6. According to a posting on elsewhere.com, the organizers of the Rock In Rio (Lisbon) festival have confirmed that GUNS N' ROSES will be headlining the event on May 27. Confirmation is set to appear on the Rock In Rio web site in the next 24 hours.

In other news, GUNS N' ROSES manager Merck Mecuriadis has reportedly confirmed to MyGNR.com that GN'R are indeed playing the Nova Rock festival in Austria on June 15-17. When asked what other dates GN'R are playing over the summer, Merck reportedly responded, "You will see more if we announce more."

Also on the GN'R-related front, www.elsewhere.de is reporting that GUNS N' ROSES will play the Rock am Ring festival on June 3-6 in Nurburgring, Germany.

In a rare interview conducted by Rolling Stone magazine on Jan. 13, GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose promised fans that the band will be back in 2006 with the long-awaited "Chinese Democracy" album.

"People will hear music this year," Rose said. "'Chinese Democracy' is a very complex record. I am trying to do something different. Some of the arrangements are kind of like QUEEN."

He also added he is working on 32 songs for the album and 26 are finished out of which 13 will feature on the final album. Some songs include "Better", "There was a Time" and "The Blues".

    WOOHOO! Lucky people!
