I am reading a lot of what you guys and gals are saying. And everyone, at least in this topic, has made good points. But I think that the GNR namesake has already proven that it can operate completely outside of what is typically done. Many people believe in constants, meaning the way this or that is supposed to be done. I hear a lot of, "if it's not announced by this date it can't come out this year", or "Axl has not said anything about CD durrin the US tour so it won't be out this year". I just have this stupid feeling that one day I will walk into Tower Records and it'll just be there. And I think it will happen in 2006.

If the CD isn't out this year, Axl has wasted his chance. This is the first time he has guaranteed us a release ("Fall, late fall, DEFINETELY this year" - Eddie Trunk interview) and so if it isn't out this year, we can officially take every thing that Axl says with a pinch of salt.

actually you can constructively criticize the music, the band performances, and even the shows themselves, I think what he is referring to is the malicious nature of it, not constructive or helpful in any way. Also, who the hell cancriticize his marketing etc. NONE of us know what he wants to do with his music, and it is soley his choice. Axl doesnt tell me how to run my business or my life, so I wont tell him how to run his. I will just enjoy, or not enjoy the music, cause that is really what it is all albout THE MUSIC. It's all part of the fandom dude. Go to ANY major band message board and if the singer etc is dating any model etc, there's going to be a thread. Just click on the threads that interest you and ignore the rest.

Del James gives us some great news and inside information this week, and what do you people do? You go and open negativ topics about him and about Guns hating their fans. We should be thankful to Del for giving us some rare inside GNR information, because that doesn't happen to often for a GNR fan. I went to their concert in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, and I followed this board every day in 2006. There is so much stuff happening this year!!! 2006 is a great year for a GNR fan!!!

Yeah that was REAL OBVIOUS during the Eddie Trunk video. He bashes The Offspring to get on Axl's good side and then brags that he has the "It's So Easy" video which he thinks no one has but in reality, it's VERY easy to find on youtube.

yeah. be difficult so none of the old members want to be in a band with you anymore and then wait 13 years to REALLY get the ball rolling (well, slowly rolling) and also keep putting out false "release dates" over the years just to keep a little interest

Sorry if this is too premiture for others, but I am now counting the weeks and days that CD des not surface. Every monday and tuesday there is no news on CD I feel a little more pecimistic, I am starting to doubt. Is this just me?
