The drum clinic I met Steven back in Sydney in 2009 was approachable and you could take pictures and let him sign some of your stuff. Hes a lot more "approachable" and you didn't need to pay a shitload for the privilidge.
Love that 2009 cell phone video quality!

Metallica are a bunch of douche bags, especially after the Napster era. After the black album I lost interest in them.
Hetfield/Axl dislike each other (egos egos egos) and Lars love Axl.
Give Metallica credit, their shows are selling well for the upcoming tour in the states, but they have a bunch of trendy modern bands opening up for them which helps a lot.
And that's why the music business is a business.

What country is this?

As much as I like it when a crowd sings along at a show, it's really annoying when someone sings next to the camera mic

But it's just funny that he's still bitter after 25 years. He left the biggest gig you could get and now he's playing clubs, that's why he's bitter. Meanwhile GN'R is earning a fuckload which was also obviously what he was asked about in the first place, their current tour.
If any other member of Metallica left, they'd be playing clubs too. GNR was getting close to that until Slash came back

I agree that Bumblefoot isn't talking in riddles. He's made it clear that he didn't like being in New GNR, and it's pretty clear that they saw him as a musician-for-hire who was expected to do as he was told. HOWEVER, I think it's pretty weak on BBF's part to keep regurgitating the same old whining every few months. Let's face it, he enjoys talking about this because that's all the majority care about. It's not exactly as if his solo albums are the strongest headline grabbers.
AGAIN, this has to do with him not recognizing his role as the hired hand that he was. AND yes, I would have done things much differently if I was him, including not being in New GNR to begin with.
Bullshit. No fan would turn down being in a band with Axl

Actually, I wouldn't have. I saw all of BBF's public tantrums and threats to be pretty bitch moves on his part.
I didn't say you'd act like him (plus everyone handles stress and life differently), I'm saying that if given the same opportunity he got, you wouldn't have turned it down.

I think many would say that he should have never been there to begin with. When your objective is to cash-in on another band's legacy, don't be so butt-hurt when you're treated like the hired hand that you are.
Adios and good riddance to him, I say.
You'd have done the same thing if you were in his shoes

I remember an interview with Chris Cornell where he trashed the Estranged video

I'd LOVE to see Robert John back

Last time a radio station had a huge announcement about gnr it was a ticket giveaway. Just seems like a way to gain media attention.
Don't expect too much
Of course. It IS a business.

TOTALLY off topic but the guitar/whistling bit that they got going on here really is awesome. I wondered, when I first saw this, if it was a way of sneaking new music in.

I don't know who some of the quotes are from. Also, you can kinda tell which are poorly translated.

Hey guys,
I've been working on a blog for a little while. It's now live http://gnrposters.rocks/. I have about 50 posters shown there.
There's some basic info about the posters, some info on the artists and you can give a 'star rating' to your favourite posters. Thanks to all of you that answered questions and supplied the poster photos. You guys rock! If you do have any feedback or know have more info, please let me know.
Cheers,
MattAdd the Godzilla ones from Japan if you can!
