When you look at the top 25 rock songs from 1995 till 1999, you will see that 3/4 of it is alt-rock bands. Sure, I don't know what kind of rock music was popular in Kazakhstan, or whatever country you're from, but in North America and most of Europe it was those bands that gained the most popularity. That more or less changed when those nu-metal freaks got their one minute fame.
Top 25 rock songs according to who?
Nu-Metal fame lasted longer than a minute

The grunge fad was already fading out by 1993. The so called ''grunge'' bands were still relevant, though, and as a result we got one alt-rock band after another throughout the 90s. It wasn't until the late 90s that the rap-rock thing became more popular. The sentiment that the alt-rock scene stopped being popular when Cobain died is incorrect.
Nope. Possibly regional however

I remember GNR (and Metallica) being cool all the way through but the grunge thing was nipping at their heels. Once Cobain died, grunge fizzled and rap took over.

This title seems unnecessarily attacking and demeaning to Axl. He was just trying to get back to his car and was being harassed by paparazzi and eBay scumbags in a giant crowd- any one of us would lose our cool briefly and it's very likely to make a mistake of going to the wrong car with all the craziness going around.
The paparazzi who try to act like the body guard, constantly talk and use the word "bro" 50 times a minute.

Are you suggesting Slash & Duff don't know this is a cash grab reunion tour and want plans for a new album?
"cash grab"? They should be playing for free?

Actually they could all retire with the money they have made on this tour and not do anything for the rest of their lives.
That would be hell for them. Or any musician really.

How many of us were around in the gnronline forum days? The one attached to the gunsnroses.com way back in the day like 98/99ish times.
Just curious which of us is still left
I was around on that old Guns N' Roses mailing list. Some idiot fooled everyone into thinking that CD was actually going to be called "Sugar Fix"

I think the sad thing about American politics is the lack of respect from either side. At the end of the day, both sides should be able to shake hands and move on regardless of ideological differences.
That type of civility is completely gone which is a shame.
It'd be easier if the President wasn't some unqualified, man-baby, tv-show host.

There is also this instrumental floating about, dunno if it's a real demo or not
It's real since it came from Alan Niven.

More touring in Europe and Asia + festivals. A money grab GH album with 1 or 2 new songs if we're lucky and a live dvd more than likely.
I think we should know which direction the wind is blowing by November.
All that being said, AFD 5 or bust.
What album isn't a money grab in the music business?

Neither were in the band then

They are going to owe us something when Duff and Slash move into their $30 million homes following this tour!
But no I wasn't serious...it was a joke. It just seemed like the appropriate response to a story like this

Brand new material. Release CDII as a bunch of B-sides or on a deluxe edition of Chinese Democracy 10th anniversary release.
That's so weird that next year is the 10 year anniversary.

As long it is not Edwards. Both films have directors. Michael Dougherty for Godzilla, King of the Monsters and Adam Wingard for Godzilla vs. Kong.
The next Godzilla actually has a good cast. Lots of well known TV stars. Such as Kyle Chandler.
TV actors means more monsters. Don't know about the directors but more monsters is always nice.
Does anyone besides me really like this version of SCOM?
