Its different I suppose if your kids ain't well.  See the problem with that autism shit is there are degrees of it and like, you can send em to special schools and that but like...I ain't no fuckin' expert or nothing but looking at those schools you kinda find yourself with like, kids on the lower end of the spectrum and kids who are like...y'know, PROPER not well all in the same school and that always like, to my limited understanding made me think like, are you bringing your kids level up to the best of his ability or are you like...maybe lowering it a bit?  But I guess those schools are about like individual attention so I'm sure they look after each kid with like a more tailored approach to their level, i dunno, this is just something that occured to me in the course of looking at a kid in my family ain't well.

I dunno man, that stuff breaks my heart, I really rate parents who do that, look after their kids who ain't well, I'm not sure I'd be that good at it, all these gorgeous little boys and girls and like...fuckin' helll, i dunno, makes my head swim, you just want so much for them to just like...y'know, switch on, get better, be able to do and enjoy all the normal things and that.  They're so sweet and innocent and you just think fuck, you're gonna get eaten alive in secondary school.  Really makes me feel rotten if i really think about it.

If this post doesn't show just how important school is, nothing will.

Izzy and Steven seem to have diametrically opposed personalities in that Steven is backward looking and prefers to live in the past and Izzy is forward looking and cares very little for the past. Their involvement in the tour (or lack thereof) sort of represents that.

I think that in Steven's case, it's more about closure. GNR got really huge after he got kicked out so it might seem like unfinished business to him

From [...]: What is Izzy Stradlin' up to? Will he be performing/or writing with GNR at all?
Slash Says: Last time I saw Izzy, he was on the way to Mexico. When I went to play with Alice Cooper, and I haven't seen or heard from him since. As far as I know, he's just doing donuts around the house with his motorcycle.

    [Slash chat, Oct. 1996]

I remember this. So many fans never heard the expression "doing donuts" when it came to vehicles so they actually thought Izzy was in his house eating donuts on his motorcycle.

    this is a must watch

RITZ 1991 FOOTAGE LIKE YOU NEVER "HEARD" BEFORE = "Dust n Bones" audience video recording perfectly synced with Live Era audio track

    :headbang:

It syncs perfectly for about 2 minutes.

apparently dust n bones from live era is part ritz 1991, part wembley 1991

what a thrill to have good quality audio for this footage

(check the youtube description to learn why the audio changes when axl joins the chorus)

what comes as a bit of a revelation to me (not sure if you guys know/knew this) is that GNR DOES HAVE THE PROFESSIONAL AUDIO RECORDING OF RITZ 1991 ON ITS VAULT!

Wow! That may be old news to you but until just about now I never had the confirmation of that and I thought it was only speculation!

    So YES, THEY HAVE IT

and because of that there is a chance that someday, somehow, someone will be smart enough to put A (the amazing cinema quality footage of this show) plus B (this professional audio recording of the show) together and RELEASE IT TO THE FUCKING WORLD!

    :headbang:

Ugh. Hate this dropped frame 60fps crap.

    So to surmise this thead:

    W. Axl Pose, $la$h, and Puff are ruthless, unethical douchebags who sold their souls.

Adler is an annoying man-child douche that continues to be used and discarded unceremoniously by Guns n' Poses.

And then ofcourse we have Izzy Stradlin' - the badass rock n' roller who still has his integrity and stayed true to his friends. He also left on his own terms before the band turned into a joke in '92. Legend.

    Your avatar wrote that post!

Does anybody own Guns n' Roses Welcome to the Videos? The music video DVD collection. If so, could you throw on ''Garden of Eden'' and tell me if there are karaoke sing-a-long words across the bottom of the screen. The video on youtube doesn't have this and I no longer own the DVD to check myself. In my head it 100 per cent had the words across the bottom of the screen with a bouncing ball. I'm curious if this might be one of those Mandela effect things.

Yep, saw that one lots of times. You didn't imagine it.
