  1. It's scary. I worked on Cheapside years ago, and used to cross London Bridge daily to get the train home. I was in London when the first attack happened. Back then, it was the back end of the IRA campaign. I'm glad I moved away. I lived in London seven years, I saw multiple crimes, and suffered two, including one assault. it's not a place to live these days

As for touring. I don't think anyone has heard anything, but it will nearly be 2 years since the last gigs in Europe! so it wouldn't surprise me to see them back. My guess is another US run before the end of the year and then Europe in 2021. Who knows, without a new album I will have to really, really consider going or not going, or I'll go but it will be a foreign gig so I can fit it in around seeing a new country, gnr just being an excuse to travel/afterthought.

We have heard so many, many false things from the band themselves that I wouldn't put it past them. "There won't be any more touring until there's new music", how many extra legs have they done since then? :P End of the day, there are thousands who are still eager to see GNR live, so while it's not hurting anyone I actually have no issue with it, I just don't really want to spend my money on it right now.

A more intensive tour of the UK and Ireland would be great. I spend most of my days in Scotland, so it'd be good for them to come up here.

  3. Anyway, to drag the thread back to GN'R, the Pinkpop rumours are on this forum, in Dutch

    https://forum.festileaks.com/forums/topic/pinkpop-2020-nieuws-en-geruchten/page/242/

And away from that, if you search for guns n' roses on https://www.viagogo.de , Coachella 2020 pops up. I think RATM are the rock act for this year, but just throwing it out there, non Europe, but gossip nonetheless.

    Nice story, thanks for sharing😃

Aye it's all off topic, just memories for me :) The funny thing was, the next day after the concert, the same people came back to pick the squares up off the pitch and they collected hundreds of pounds in money that people had dropped during the concert, and they were allowed to keep it. They were all agency workers hired from an agency in Hatfield in Hertfordshire, so they were on low wages, so it was a bonus for the all. There were about 10 of them, and they shared it out amongst them. It makes you wonder how much money people at concerts lose. It's an odd one. John Bon Jovi went out to speak to them, and one of them asked to use his mobile phone so they could phone someone to say they were phoning from JBJ''s mobile phone, but he told them to F*** Off, haha.

"bon jovi can suck my dick"

I worked with Bon Jovi once at Wembley, it was the concert with Ugly Kid Joe and Van Halen. Leading up to the gig, I remember Eddie Van Halen riding around Wembley on a bike, I think he was exercising. People had to put plastic squares out on the pitch to protect it, they fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle, but they were not allowed to stand on the grass because it was 'sacred'. It was a great experience, and I like Bon Jovi and they always put on a good concert, but JBJ was not a nice person but he was accessible. Iron Maiden concerts, the band never seemed accessible to people working with them, which was weird. Def Leppard were cool, Joe Elliot is a great guy. Oddly, never worked at a GN'R concert despite all the oddities with Merck and that. I have seen them but just as a punter.

I know she is.  All I'm saying is she's ultimately responsible for GNRTruth still being active, and I think it's strange, given what most of us know about Mojo.

    You disagree, which is fine.

    No she isn't. Mojo Is.

People leave forums and gravitate towards whatever is next. It is what it is.

Agree, she's not being mistreated and I've never said anything personal about Cineater.

But anyone in doubt, just take a look over at GnrTruth.  Cineater is effectively the only one chatting to Mojo, thus keeping his forum clinging to life.

I just find that sketchy.  I guess it's not a crime, but given the nature of that guy it's baffling to a lot of us here why she does this.

I'd agree with her though, she's never got involved in any of the forum dramas over the years.  She's certainly not like his other disciples (EmoAnnie, Maribeth etc etc).

Stalked is a ridiculous claim to make to be fair.  I've no idea who she is, and have never cared.  All I know is that she was his buddy on the MSL forum and a regular on Truth.

It is not baffling. Cineater is an old Gnr fan from the forums, she frequented other forums that were closed, and went where she went. You are new user who came along years after many of us were here. I get you have your issues, but listen to what people are saying.

Yeah I do lose people.   I write a little bit and the style spills over into things.  Just skim over it.  It's like lyrics, so many things rolled into one.

Wait, never said I don't have an account over there.  I do and I post there.  Never said anything about a fake account.  Where did that come from?

See I think that too.  Wherever I go on the net shouldn't matter to anyone else.  It's not open for discussion.  Want to have a conversation about something you saw me say somewhere else, we can do that.  But that's not what this person is talking about.  All those other people who had to deal with worse, it probably started like this.  Yeah, I think this guy qualifies as a stalker and an internet bully.  He's got something going on about me in his head and it's not a good thing.  If you notice, I've never participated in any of those conversations about that board or what other people have been up to.  That whole thing doesn't interest me but there's a group of people who are interested in it.  You can't help but notice if you come to this board.  I don't want any part of it, including having to keep my name out of it.

Cin, you are a respected member of the GN'R community from times gone by, from before a time when most people ever registered anywhere. You are GN'R Bar material, or for forums from times that do not exist anymore, so it's tough times now.

Russ is fine too, and is not Pele.

nowadays at a concert everyone is standing there filming the show and taking pictures,  is Axl just like fuck it, I wish he would start beating people up again, it is so fucking annoying going to a concert and every asshole is standing there with their fucking arms in the air filming it and it obstructs your view

It's funny that people spend money on concert tickets, then film a lot of the concert on their phones. I find it odd. And I never really watch YouTube

Again, new era, don't get any of it. People need to go up to the front row and let loose. That is what you pay the money for

  10. I've half read the thread again haha

I would find it a shame for the band to abandon the forums, we are living in a new era and everything is new and wild on the internet. The band should take into account the fact that throughout the CD sessions, there were demos in record shops, there were students at recording studios offering out material, and public recordings of this, that and the other out there for trade. Despite any leaks that have happened, 99 per cent of anything has been respected and kept quiet over a very long period of time, and on an official basis, there has been one album release in 20 plus years, and the band still has active forums. All of that is amazing, and a lot of it respectful. I get that the leaks would have been hurtful, but they have always been there and given how connected the world is now, it will become increasingly difficult to stop leaks of anything that is out there. Rather than being bitter, turn lemons into lemonade and look at how you can benefit from the situation.

As I have said before, social media is full of flakes, and they were the ones spreading the material. Noone reads the forums anymore apart from us, it is social media and reddit that were more damaging on many levels.

If you get rid of gnrcentral and alternative nation, there is no connect from the forums to the outside world anymore, these places are hidden away. However, these places are where the people that spend the big money on the concerts and the merch exist. And these are the places where the fans will still be years ahead when the flaky people lose interest

    YOU HEATHEN!

I think it is when another game comes out, your attention gets taken away, I was close to finishing them both. I finished the recent Zelda, I actually accidently went into the fight early on after only beating one of the four big bosses and almost won. I have RDR 2, but I have not got far with it. I need more time in my life for a game that like. The good thing about Switch is you can take it with you.

Zelda team magic/they have combined new influences with the Zelda formula while getting rid of some elements which have stagnated. The game is a masterpiece imo, but not without it's flaws. More dungeons, specifically more classic dungeons. Shrines don't quite compare. Why not both. Can't wait for the sequel.

It's supposedly coming out with next gen switch, hopefully xmas next year. Looking forward to it.

Will play another game, I like open world games. Was interested in Pine, but not sure what it is about
