  1. A new GNR release wont impact the music world. But it will help gain some attention to their shows and tour, whilst giving back to their diehards that have supported the band through thick and thin. I dont get it- like they release the Absurdity of ‘Absurd’ (which i like haha) so obviously they dont give two fucks what any media thinks of their music. So whats the hold up, why does Axl care so much!! Time to finally give back to the fans because we are going to stop buying tickets to the never ending tour.
  2. Slash is Axl’s hired hand. If Slash and Duff truly had a say on GNR we would have ample music to discuss.
  3. At this point, releasing new music doesn’t change anything…. They are one of the greatest bands ever, ppl go to their concerts to hear the hits and could care less about new songs. Its a nostalgia act at its grandest. if Axl is controlling everything in regards to a new song coming out, no one cares. His diehard fans will worship it, there will be those that hate it… But it doesn’t change a thing and wont make an impact on the ‘popular charts’ The band seems like a family these days, and are just doing what they need to do to make everyone happy to support their livelihoods Its Axl‘s show and we just wait. But at the end of the day- new music doesn’t do anything for the ‘brand’ and thats what it is at this point- ‘a brand’. As long as GN’R play SCOM ppl flock.
  4. ‘Atlas Shrugged’ is bringing up GN’R in Australia on Spotify, which wasn’t the case a few days ago.
  5. Nice to hear Slash on TWAT with homage towards Buckets Solo- obviously not note for note, but there's definitely reference to the original instead of random noodling.
  6. To be fair- they all left the band. But it’s probably easy to assume that if Axl released more CD era albums, the guys may have stuck around.
  7. Its a backing track with Axl’s rasp voice. I assume he will sing over that in the chorus.
  8. Its a very long concert for a casual fan, perfection for the diehards. I’m so happy they have switched it up and added some deep cuts (seems so simple, why hasn’t it always been like this 🤔) I think a 2.5 concert would be ideal, and every show could alternate. Keep all low register songs and adapt that low register voice to more songs, drop the covers + extended solos. Even the CD songs, they have been played enough and there’s minimal interest to hear them. Hope for new songs + releases like Perhaps and Atlas, to give more excitement and credential to the tour.
  9. Love how the mix on this is better than anything they have released on ‘Selects’ 🙄 I do think the audio is from a previous concert though, Melissa’s vocals pushed forward sound good. Axl sounds good for his clean vocals. Would he push that hard for a rehearsal 🤔 He does look great in the clip. Here’s hoping for an inspired tour from the band and a mix up. Please just open with something different…..
  10. Axl you dont need your fans permission, you do as you please. However, if you sing certain songs in your low register fans will eat it up in a live setting. Watching back last year in London it sounded amazing 🤩 Estranged, Civil War, Nightrain etc Longevity- Axl could sing low but still save it for the high register ‘for the hits’ and make a set where no one questions his voice.
