The Linktree and countdown links were removed because the song was delayed one week, not because we found out.

You are wrong when you say there wasn’t any proof that those songs were being released digitally. Those two are.

The fact that The General is shipping as a B-side on a physical format doesn’t prove that it’s coming in digital too.

Can you tell me where can I legally stream the physical-only live versions of Absurd, Don’t Cry and You’re Crazy that were officially released less than two years ago?

I just realized I've still never heard those live tracks. Haha some fan.

    Yes, i am nuts.

Evader did a freaking remix with full lyrics out of a phone call that sounded like it was ecorded in a potato, but you didn't heard anything on a phone call, not even a word.

    Guys,

The lyrics are about the Roswell Incident in 1947, case solved.

    Co-written by Tom DeLonge confirmed

(sorry, I'm really dating myself here)

  3. I'm starting to think that if it is gunna hit streaming platforms, it's gunna drop with little to no rigamarole. Didn't they do that with Perhaps? Sure, radio stations announced it and all that but their own feeds didn't mention anything until it was available? I could be wrong, maybe it was the night before.

Either way. The fact that we're probably just over a week away from finally hearing this song in any real form makes my nipples hard.

  4. I really don't believe in the Spotify algorithm that much. I knew a new Blink 182 song was coming yesterday. I searched it on Spotify 2 days before, at which they had started an active campaign for. It did not bring up Blink 182 as an artist option. Did get a fan made playlist that had the songs title in the name.

    Food for thought I guess.

  5. I promise I'm not trying to be a downer, but was it just the 1 radio station saying new music coming? Did this station have any credibility with Perhaps? Not being a smartass, I just don't know.

Time line of releasing a song and playing it live the next day could be an indicator of a plan. It just seemed to have come out of nowhere haha

I was on Nov 19 and the Dexter intro got a great reaction from the crowd!

November 13th in Minneapolis! My now wife who I had just started dating at that time decided to feign getting into GNR to have something in common, mainly so she could justify the road trip from Winnipeg with me haha. She loves Dexter so she got a kick out of that.

It Will be released on streaming services too Right?

I would hope so. I still haven't heard the live tracks from the Hard Skool EP cuz they aren't in streaming services. Now obviously those don't hold the grandeur of The General so I don't have as much a desire to seek them out. But General better hit streaming services.

My opinion, as it's seemingly been on a setlist, it's gotta be available when it releases.

  8. It's amazing what proper promotion can accomplish. I give this band and management shit just as much as the next guy or gal, but I think they're doing great with this release. A video, radio play (Winnipeg stations don't seem to be playing it), showing it in Times Square. And it seems they're getting recognition for that. Hopefully they're learning something from this and can continue doing so. Hell if anything I hope this reinvigorates some motivation and self confidence for Axl.

  9. Can't wait to get the final product on Spotify tonight. Gotta check that out in the car stereo.

Checked that Reddit post and played that through my soundbar in my basement. I'm torn on one part and that's Duff's bass during the verses. Like, it sounds so good. But I kinda wish it was turned down in the mix just a tad little bit? I'd like to hear more of Slash's parts but they sound slightly buried. But hey, that's a radio rip posted on reddit. The final product could very well address my issue.

Regardless, the verse parts I couldn't really hear in a bar as they just pumped bass no matter the song. Either way, I'm confident in saying of the 3 songs, this one is mixed the best.
