  1. I guess I dont understand what is "late"

If Axl has always come on stage whenever he is ready, and he tells the fans that, and he tells the promotors that(who's job it is to know about the bands they book and everyone knows Axl goes on when he's ready) then what is "late"?

And if we KNOW that he goes on when he wants, and thus doesnt come out when someone else wants him to, how can anyone be mad?

We know GN’R aren’t punctual, but some countries are stricter than others with curfews. And GN'R know this. We aren't asking for punctuality, but something acceptable.

  2. Se I guess the shows are cancelled because Axls twitter says so?

hold on a sec, gotta inform everyone on my facebook about it.

I know, its kinda ironic that the axl nut swingers on here always say " unless its said by axl i dont believe it " well this is direct from Axl and now they choose to not believe it lol

They must love being spoon fed bullshit

    +1

If Axl didn't say it, I don't believe it... Oh I don't like what this says, it CAN'T be Axl that said it!!

I beleived it really was cancelled, until several soures, including Managment and Bumblefoot said the tour was on, and it was a hack.

True. The same thing happened to me.

  3. They haven't been the world's most dangerous band for a long time now. They're just the world's most unreliable band. Exciting, huh? :shrugs:

This is so true. All those people saying GNR are "the world's most dangerous band" are living in the past.

¨the most dangerous band¨, it's just for publicity, haha. Don't take it seriously.

Didn't that come from the fact that people have died at their concerts and not from anything that they themselves did?

I thought it was because of the riots that were caused at their shows. I don’t know the original origin of this phrase. Someone knows?

  4. It’s so weird why they would continue to allow the so called hack Facebook account to continue to display the message.

There’s 2 ways of viewing the message:

    1. The Facebook page has been hacked.

    2. Axl posted the message.

    1. If the Facebook page was hacked, and receiving the publicity its currently gained, why is it so difficult to take the message down?

Does Axl know the message is there?

If so, does he give a shit?

    2. Axl posted the message. Then why?

Some say it has something to do with something called publicity.

Maybe it as simple as, Axl has no intentions of showing up, and has failed to tell anyone.

Maybe there’s a lack of ticket sales, and this will be used as an excuse. It may also pave the way for more legal action, either against Facebook, or the (so called) hacker.

Or maybe Axl wrote that message when he was drunk, and now he doesn't know what to do .... :o

  6. Yes we did. Was it good for you?

Yes. I think this is the first time we’ve got an answer so quickly. GN’R emailed our administrator. Festival Republic were informed by GN'R management that Guns N' Roses had not canceled their performances. On facebook, BBF appeared. In Gn’r world, that’s a lot. For years, gn’r fans didn’t receive any news from anyone, but this isn’t the case. On the contrary, GN’R is very communicative now in comparison with some years ago.

Sorry but to say GNR communicate more now is crazy. All the band have signed agreements that effectively gag them. Back in the day Slash, duff, Adler, sorum and occasionally Izzy did interviews. They all talked about gnr progress with new albums or gigs. Now the various band members barely mention GNR or Axl. I can see why it's like that now as a lot of bullshit came out back then to manipulate the media. Time will tell if this tour goes ahead. It wouldn't be the first time gigs have been cancelled that's for sure. I really hope it works out. I will keep faith regardless but I know countless fans who won't.

When I was a fan of original guns, the media made up a lot of rumours too, but that is another story. I was referring to the years 1998/2008. If you compare the news we have now with those years, there is a difference. It’s not the same.

It’s true what you say about the cancellation of shows. Gn’r has cancelled shows in the past. Gn’r is very unpredictable, but in this case they denied it as soon as it came up :shrugs: .

  8. I'm going to stick my neck out here and say the rest of the tour isnt going to happen. This is Guns after all and no one can tell Axl to do something he doesnt want to do. Hearing from management etc is all fair and good but Axl is his own boss and have the management actually been able to contact him? If his twitter account was hacked would he not of jumped quickly to clear up any rumours? After all it will cost GNR money if people start returning tickets. I dont want to stir shit. I'm an old school GNR fan and i've become used to the ways of the GNR world and this to me is nothing out of the ordinary for being a GNR fan. Thoughts?

For the record. I wont be ditching on my fav band just because of some bad publicity. GNR are the best for me and always will be.

    We received an answer.
