For sure, I just wanted to put it out there but hopefully its not a big deal and the show goes on no probs. It said speakers so I don't think its all the gear

this sounds right.

brisbane is north of sydney and south of townsville.

adelaide is south west of sydney.

the band had all their rigging at the sydney show, i can't see how any of that would have ended back up in brisbane.

the speakers that are stranded were probably still on their way down from townsville, and the band probably used stadium speakers whilst in sydney.

just hope that hick-town adelaide can deliver adequate substitutes

Had to re-book for 6.30 AM - still have to pay accomodation costs for tonight and for the flight I missed and for a new flight....! GAH.

the v8's goes for 3 days -fri, sat & winds up on sunday. the routine is to provide free entertainment on the saturday night ever year. full blown out bands & gigs.

im just gonna ring them tomorrow(couldnt tonight they were closed) and if venue pickup isnt available I will have to hope and pray that a friend in sydney will buy them for me and i'll reimburse them later.

friday afternoon peak hour, your best bet would be jump on the train at the private airport station, change at Wynyard (it's a city circle station), for a north shore line, and get close as possible to mona vale by train before switching to road/bus. try an online journey planner. still, i think you'll be pushing it for time from mascot sorry mate
