i'm a little irritated by the industrial sounds on cd. but axl can really write some good lyrics, from the heart. i love it when i hear him pissed about things, he's a very good angry writer. the blues has some beautiful melodies, and so does catcher. he's good at that. but what would i like to see more of in the next album.. i'd like to see him go in the studio with a group of guys who have chemistry with him and are not just a bunch of hired guns. we need some music axl, make the love.

what makes a singer, really is the question. are they talking about personal appeal.. technical perfection, soul, charisma, popular opinion, what?

Personally I would keep Bob, and add Axl closer to the top cause he feels his songs- and that's what makes a good singer to me. Like Steve Tyler, and Eddie Vedder, and Janis (who wasn't technically perfect either.) Who said Kurt could sing, another feeler in my books. As for Mariah and Freddy- well they can sing, they know how to use their chords.

Slash is open to it, I'm sure Axl has given it some thought. I wouldn't be surprised if he geared up toward it, but i prefer to not hold my breath

i wouldn't say they were the best punk band but they definitely were consistently good. i like everything they ever did but also lost interest after splinter. they're a great band to revisit and it rocks when my 8 yo cranks up the volume and tries to sing along in the car

eminem and mariah are the only deserving of that list

The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack is a really good record. I don't see the reasons to be disappointed.

Let ne ask, how many people did I fool with that post? I actually don't hate him, not a fan but I don't hate him. I just made this topic just to see if Springsteen fans are more hardcore than Slayer fans. In this case, not really but it's up there. A big thanks to my Mom who asked "Are you a fan of the Boss?" and me saying "Eh he's okay" to strike a huge argument between my mom and me. So anyway, I don't hate the Boss, just wanted some test rats to see if my expirement ment anything.

.. angelica is one of our better posters. Pretty intelligent and funny....very opinionated, loves to dish it out if she disagrees with somebody, but like her little buddy DB gets very upset if somebody dare gives it back. But all in all, imo she is one of the 25 most important posters on the board.

I got my advance review copy of this book & as soon as I started to skim over it, I decided to post a few teasers as to some of her stories in this book...it was a teaser to promote the book & this review. What ended up happening was, Roxana reads posts on Metal Sludge, where the bulletin was posted...I had sent her a message via her Myspace account & we exchanged messages for a few minutes...she informed me that she felt like I was saying bad things about her & I had misunderstood her book; her book was about how she over came bad things that happened to her growing up, she had some abuse, some molestation & she felt like being a groupie helped her fit in, that she had reformed her life, had some college degree & she felt like writing this book proved she was a real writer now...WRONG Miss Groupie girl!
